^^^

These threads mimic Trump's campaign strategy to "run against" American cities. IMO it is utterly shameful and predictably divisive!

It looks like the owner of the Kulture Hookah Bar is in trouble. She was operating illegally.

Tulsa is a red city in a red state and has a high violent crime rate. Explain that.

Basically, that is what it is. I don't think the OP is getting paid. I think this is all about "GOP is the best, Democrats blow".

That is barely above the national average, which is 13%.

Huntsville, Alabama is 30% Black and has a lower murder rate(and less violent crime) than Tulsa does. Both are red cities in red states. Why does Tulsa have more violence, in spite of a lower percentage of Blacks?

The entire state of West Virginia, with a population of about 1.8 million people, had 112 murders in 2017, according to the Centers for Disease Control. The city of St. Louis, with a population of about 318,000, had 205 murders in that same year.

I'm not saying that violence doesn't occur in Appalachia, because clearly it does. But you're a whole lot less likely to be murdered in West Virginia than you are in St. Louis.
