It was lifted by the required date, nobody was harmed. Move on with your lives, times are good. Impeachment will be history soon and we can discuss things of actual importance

Money had to be released by Sept. 30. It was released Sept. 11

There's no serious discussion to be had. Only mindless idiocies. Any Trump supporter with any sense now keeps their mouths shut (or fingers off the keyboard) knowing full well that they support a POTUS who is scum.

That they may vote for him again due to their personal advantage or political stance is understandable. Voters may be stuck if Trump is the only game in town on the Republican side of the ticket. But to try to defend Trump personally?

"High crimes and misdemeanors" are what the constitution says are impeachable offenses.

Stealing a candy bar from a convenience store is a misdemeanor. So all a president has to do is steal a candy bar from a convenience store, and he has committed an impeachable offense.

This is worse than stealing a candy bar from a convenience store.

No, that's not a fact. It's inaccurate. No funds were withheld. That's a fact. There was not a dime's worth of funding that arrived after the deadline for it to arrive. What the GAO is arguing, which is not an authority on interpreting the law BTW, would be relevant if funds were withheld beyond the deadline for those funds reaching their destination. Since that did not happen, their argument is moot.

Oh stop.

The GAO said Obama broke the law as well.

I guess Barack was scum too.

So the strategy from the depths of the Swamp seems to be to pressure the Senate to hold witnesses and hopefully remove him by means of these non-legal accusations and reports claiming that Trump acted illegally.

The GAO came out with this now... but not back when the House dealt with this even though nothing has changed between now and then. So they just thought up this strategy.

If the Senate continues on course and dismisses this quickly, which they should - they will be labeled for the rest of the year as corrupt with the goal of damaging them in the elections. If the Senate changes course and succumbs to the pressure - then there are hopes of actually removing him.

How many times do we have to tell you and others who keep repeating that lie about overturning an election that the impeachment does no such thing. Pence was elected alongside Trump and he would step into being POTUS. Hillary is not all of a sudden the President.

This is about exposing a corrupt, lunatic President and getting him out of office where he is doing tremendous damage to the US.

I will only say this ONE more time. It was OMB - clearly per Trump's direction - that came up with apportionment schedules that GAO found did not meet the law.

The end of the fiscal year - and what would happen then - is a different issue. After September 30th, the WH would have not fulfilled its statutory obligations and now be unable to fulfill them. Before September 30th, the WH chose not to fulfill them - per the apportionment schedules.

This is not rocket science.
