Comprehensive immigration reform comes first. Then we can talk about the number of immigrants we let into the country.
Oh, in other words amnesty. It's not reform it's rewarding those in our country illegally. There is no reason we should have to deal with the illegal immigration issue prior to reducing legal immigration. Both issues need to be dealt with at the same time.

So...you couldn't make your point without resorting to insults.

What you propose is nothing but a Ponzi scheme. And you know what eventually happens to every single Ponzi scheme.

What happens when the "working age immigrants" get old? What then? Bring in even more "working age immigrants" when you become to quote you --- an "old fart"?

Why do you want people to breed irresponsibly? That's what you're whining about in your first sentence. People with a even a modicum of intelligence don't bring children into the world that they can't afford to take care of.

I guess you're too young to remember when liberals were all about ZPG. Many people didn't have children because they were worried about overpopulating the world. Now liberals have done a 180 and are encouraging people to bring children into the world even if they can't properly provide for them.

How many people are too many for you? 1 billion? 2 billion? Get real.

Most jobs are severely understaffed. And many workers in America are working non stop trying to do the job of 3 or 4 people. Every job I've had in the last 20 years, we always needed people.

Without visa sponsorships the few of us who want to work would die of exhaustion. It is nothing for people to be forced to put in 12 to 16 hour days to meet deadlines.

Meanwhile we have a country full of people looking to protect their factory jobs that no one needs or cares about. If factory jobs are dying, then no one should be protecting them. Yet most Americans, particularly those that call themselves conservative elected a president basically promising to protect obsolete and useless jobs.

Yet we want to blame immigration. How about you take a look in the mirror. If you think the government should protect your job, then you're part of the problem. Instead of evolving you want concessions from Washinton
Absolutely wrong

You make it sound like all Americans are "too lazy". What you don't get is that illegal aliens have depressed wages. Americans will do those jobs illegals are doing for a fair wage and benefits. Think about it. Who do you think did all those jobs before we got flooded with illegals?

I don't know where you get the idea that most jobs are understaffed. You make it seem like job applicants are fielding several opportunities. That's not even close to happening.

What's this nonsense? "Without visa sponsorships the few of us who want to work would die of exhaustion." That is so absurd.

We need to abolish the entire H1-B visa program. That is evident when this visa program is being used to lay off Americans and replace them with H1-Bs. To add insult to injury, the Americans in this position are forced to train their replacements if they want their severance pay.

No, you're part of the problem. You cheer on Americans losing their jobs to both illegal aliens and legal immigrants. That's truly despicable.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" is a euphemism for amnesty. We don't owe illegals anything but a one way ticket back home.

Amnesty for illegals is a slap in the face to those who obeyed our immigration laws and patiently awaited their turn to come here.

Immigrants consume more than they produce. They can't subsidize the natives.

Really? The USA has about 6 percent of the world's population yet uses about 24% of the world's energy. It's not about population per se but the density and intensity of usage of resources.

Then I guess the boomer generation should’ve told their politicians they want to pay enough in to cover them in retirement instead of leaving it up to future generations to cover for them.

SS is under funded for decades. You owe more.

That’s just straight up ignorant.

SS needs to be reworked. Right now, it's nothing but a Ponzi scheme.

Have you told your rep and senators that you "want to pay enough to cover [your generation] instead of leaving it up to future generations to cover for [your generation]? If not, what's stopping you?

BTW, Boomers were paying for the Greatest Generation's and the Silent's retirement, now Gen X and Millennials are paying for the Boomers. One day Millennials will pay for your retirement.

Also, illegal aliens take far, far more than the give. You are the ignorant one if you believe otherwise.

You are correct! Also, when is our government going to pay back into the SS fund that they borrowed? Why isn't that poster concerned about that? Instead he bashes the baby boomers? Despicable is right!
