Are you ok with a company that has a union hiring people who don't want to join that union?
If a company wants to only use union people, that's fine with me, but it should be the company's choice? Do you agree?
If unions are the hiring agents and only hiring members agreed to be part of the union, then that sounds like a personal company issue they need to negotiate with the unions. Not with the state.
I guess you believe 100% of everything your union tells you and never question it.
When I negotiated myself an extra week of vacation and more pay, it only applied to me and not any other person in the company.
Unions could negotiate for just their members and exclude non-union members from any concessions.
Well, I suppose it could be that union leadership is so incredibly stupid, that might not have occurred to them.
The point is, in the free market, owners and labor need to work out their differences and not run to the government to favor them which is what right to work states does.

Only if the company chooses to allow them to hire.
Both the company and the worker should have the choice.

So it should be up to the employer first, correct?
