Looking back in time...Barisma was known as a corrupt company. Multiple investigations around the world were turning towards them. Great Britain had seized their assets. The company owner left the country. About that time Obama's VP, Joe Biden becomes the "point man" on Ukraine policy. And shortly after, his son, recently kicked out of the Navy for drug use, in trouble for not paying his divorce settlement, and a known customer of prostitutes gets a million dollar a year job with Barisma. All with zero experience in the oil and gas industry. Ukraine is investigating Burisma....and Joe, in his own words (see video in link above) brag of blackmailing them with US taxpayer dollars into firing the prosecutor in charge of investigation into Barisma. And (Son of a B!) they fire the prosecutor.

The story the Dems like to tell is that the prosecutor Shokin wasn't "tough enough" on corruption and that is why Biden blackmailed Ukrainian leadership into firing him. My question-once he was fired-who was the tough, honest prosecutor that replaced him, what charges were brought against Barisma and who was sent to prison for corruption? I have done some degree of searching and (son of a B) haven't found a definitive answer. All I end up with is sites trying to deflect from Biden's actions.

Kind of interesting that all those that said Joe only blackmailed Ukrainian leadership to put in someone that was NOT corrupt-and that would actually crack down on corruption. Here is the guy they put in charge due to Joe's (and the Obama admins) pressure:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuriy_Lutsenko

Quote:
On 13 December 2010 Lutsenko was charged with abuse of office and forgery by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka.[14] On 27 February 2012 Lutsenko was sentenced to four years in jail for embezzlement and abuse of office.
Quote:
From 1991, Lutsenko was a long-term member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine (SPU); prior to his appointment to the executive branch, he was people's deputy in the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian parliament) beginning in February 2002.
Quote:
In early May 2009 Lutsenko became entangled in a scandal concerning his behaviour during a visit to Germany. According to German newspaper Bild Oleksandr Lutsenko, his son, was detained at Frankfurt Airport by the German police in a state of acute alcohol intoxication.
Quote:
On 12 May 2016 parliament appointed Lutsenko Prosecutor General of Ukraine.[9] This after it had changed amendments to legislation allowing a person to hold the office without a law degree.[9] Lutsenko, who has no law degree,[96] was also stripped of his MP mandate.[9] Lutsenko had been demanding this position since the 2007 Ukrainian political crisis.[97]
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ko/3828779002/

Quote:
It said that Lutsenko and other former lawmakers may have conspired to "provide cover" for illegal gambling businesses in Ukraine. Lutsenko disputes the allegations.

The claims were first raised by David Arakhamia, a member of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky's Servant of the People party. In a Facebook post, Lutsenko said Arakhamia and state investigators "must have a great imagination to accuse me of this."

Lutsenko was fired as Ukraine's top legal official last month.
THIS was the guy that Quid-Pro-Joe described as "really solid" when he blackmailed Ukraine to fire Shokin. Funny how all those Dems that say Joe did nothing wrong and just wanted Shokin replaced with someone "stronger"....deflect and ignore from any actual discussion of his replacement. Oh-no one from Barisma is in prison over the corrupt acts (that I have been able to find)....and yes, even GB unfroze Barisma's assets once Biden got the investigation effectively shut down. One has to wonder just how deep the ties to Ukraine go-and besides Biden, just who else in Western governments were profiting from them.

It seems clear that we need the equivalent of the "Mueller Investigation" to route out the corruption that occurred under the Obama administration and bring the guilty to justice. An investigation staffed with a team of investigators that have personal animosity to the previous administration. That had an "insurance policy". We need to ensure that they have unlimited subpoena authority to go after Biden's friends and associates and the power to put them behind bars. Oh, and of course give them the ability to wire tap and spy on his presidential campaign. One more thing-an unlimited budget and 3 years to try to dig up something...anything...to destroy the man, and others that the investigation leads to.

One other question-if memory serves me, some of those caught by the Mueller investigation were charged with "failure to register as a foreign agent". So, I have to ask-did Hunter Biden do so? Did Joe?

You have come to the intersection of truth and the Iron Wall incuriosity of American journalism. Like the old Soviet Iron Wall, the American media and journalists protect leftist ideologies (they have “colluded with Russia” for decades) and leftist politicians. The only way you will see the dam break with the Bidens and the leftist media is that it becomes obvious that the Bidens are no longer useful and that the two Bidens can be isolated from their cause and easily sacrificed without collateral damage.

He didn't blackmail Ukraine and as usual you left out all the details on the Shokin firing, are you going tell the full story or just Trumps version.

I know that's the leftist line, but what's it based on? Last I checked, investigation happy Dems never called for an independent congressional inquiry into the matter. No, they just take the previous administration's word and Ukraine's word, though the fired prosecutor blames Biden for his firing and has launched a lawsuit in his country.

Sadly, there is a lot of truth to that. Our mainstream media fabricates and exaggerates any hint of wrongdoing and present it as unequivocal fact if there is a Republican or anyone remotely conservative involved. Yet when a liberal or Democrat is caught in a blatantly corrupt act, one with massive amounts of evidence (and in this case, even a "confession" in Biden's own words)-the media scrambles to cover it up, to pretend it never happened, to deflect-or to counter with "whataboutisms" pointing to unsubstantiated or fraudulent claims against the opposite party.

In this case, it seems to have blown up in their faces. The media had buried the Biden corruption case. It was ignored, swept under the rug and forgotten for years. Until the idiots decided to run with a hoax impeachment in order to put on a media circus (and influence an election). All the whining and noise brought awareness of the Biden's corruption, and the Obama admin's involvement, to a level that even those not paying attention to politics had heard about it and started doing their own research. Even today it takes effort to find out the facts-the usual manipulators (MSNBC, CNN, NYT, NBC, USA Today, etc) are all doing their best to hid the facts. But as the links I provided show-the truth is out there for those that want to look.

It’s based on contemporaneous accounts reported by a dozen international news agencies at the time. It’s based on documents - signed by Republican Senators - pushing for Shokin’s during in furtherance of US foreign policy. It’s furthered by sworn testimony from career diplomats confirming that Shokin was corrupt. It’s furthered by formal statements issued by the IMF and EU at the time pressing for his removal. It’s furthered by people who were working under Shokin who resigned because Shokin was actively undermining anti-corruption efforts.

Given the weight of the evidence to the contrary, the idea that Biden had Shokin fired to further his son’s personal interests is an absurdity that only the most weak minded of gullible fools could possibly buy into. There is, quite literally, no evidence that Biden was doing anything but advancing US foreign policy at the behest and direction of the State Department. Relying on empty innuendo will not change that fact.

Not only quid pro quo Joe but the whistle Liar and other Obama swampettes were deriving a good corruption income from "managing" the billions of US tax dollars going to Ukraine.

The conspiracy theories and lies continue. Not a surprise. Let's see who gets locked up, impeached, disbarred or indicted in Trump's circle this time. But Biden...But Clinton...But Obama....are all still exonerated. Trump is impeached.
