bezos is bummed. he really needs that $10 billion..

Quote:
Amazon wants to depose President Donald Trump over the tech company's losing bid for a $10 billion military contract.

The Pentagon awarded the cloud computing project to Microsoft in October. Amazon later sued, arguing that Trump's interference and bias against the company harmed Amazon's chances of winning the contract.

The company said in a federal court filing in Washington on Monday that Trump has a "well-documented personal animus towards" Amazon, its CEO Jeff Bezos and The Washington Post, which Bezos owns. Amazon says that Trump is the only who can testify about the "totality of his conversations and the overall message he conveyed" about the bidding process.

Bezos' claim has no merit. Lots of reasons why, but his attempt to cash in on "everything Trump does is corrupt" hysteria will fail, and miserably. Google and Microsoft, along with all the other merry band of corporate cronies, will back their master.

Have you ever been in the source selection committee? There is no such criteria as “screw the Amazon”. Every decision is made known darn well the decision will be challenged.

AWS was the front runner by far until Trump said he needs to “take a look at Jedi”...

I'm really concerned that Amazon may have lost out on some money.
