Since day one of Donald Trump's taking office, I have been saying that if we ever saw some crisis in this country, how could we depend on Trump telling us anything that resembled the truth. The man lies even when he has no reason to lie, he is just programed that way. I thought it might be some conflict or attack on America that would be that crisis, but here it is, a virus that is potentially a very serious threat to all of us around the world.

So, here we are, getting our information from a man who we can not trust, and who has already put his spin on things to protect his chances of re election. Thank God we have other sources of information that will help get us through this, because the current Liar in Chief certainly is not capable, or willing, to tell us the truth.

Default MSNBC Giddy That Coronavirus 'May Be Donald Trump's Katrina'

Quote:
MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace was beaming as she discussed the possibility of the deadly coronavirus sweeping the country and killing an untold number of Americans. The reason for her glee? MSNBC and the rest of the mainstream media see an opportunity to direct the public's ire toward the president should the virus result in a deadly pandemic, which the media assures us is already here. The coronavirus originated in China and has quickly made its way around the world.

Wallace, who worked in the Bush administration during the deadly storm, sees an opportunity for the media to blame President Trump for the virus the same way the media blamed President Bush for Hurricane Katrina.

"We gave them a proof point that we were indeed incompetent and also people died," Wallace characterized the Bush administration's response to Katrina. "I mean, this has the making structurally for the same kind of moment for President Trump."

The panel was optimistic that enough babies, friends, loved ones and old people would perish from the virus that Trump's solid base of support would finally begin to waver.

first Bill Maher says he doesn't care if there is a recession since it would hurt Trump and now we see some Dems wanting to use the Coronavirus as a way to push their man Biden in office. sad

All of Trump’s problems are of his own making. Period.

I wonder if they consider that (if any where) It will devastate the major population centers where the liberal base resides.....

What’s the big deal?

Trump said anyone can get tested.

Pence said they’ll be available soon.

And hopefully people who can't work remotely can get sick time and not have to make the choice between going to work sick and getting paid.
With a 14 day incubation period you have already been going to work and spreading it before you even show any symptoms.

That one lawyer in Westchester resulted in 57 confirmed cases.

Yeah. When you dont test, you dont know how many cases there really are. Talk about fudging the statistics.
