When Trump throws massive amounts of money at the people and companies who need it least, it won't solve the problem. Because of course the problem is both lack of production and lack of consumption at the bottom and Trump never learns from his mistakes. Otherwise he would not have filed bankruptcy 6 times already. So he will either be reelected and the country will go into a depression or Biden will be reelected and once again try to mop up the massive mess the Republicans made. It will take years to get out of this.

Naaaahhhhh! NO GOVERNMENT BAILOUTS...remember that good ole Tea Party mantra??

Keep that same energy NOW! Don’t switch up.

The FREE MARKET fixes all problems, right? Government is the cause of all problems, remember?

Don’t go talking funny now with all this hemming, hawing, prevaricating, stammering and stuttering with a bunch of excuse making about how THIS is different and Trump needs to step in. Government is bad, remember?

I swear, you right wingers have more BS excuses than Einstein could count.

Yes, it certainly appears like it.

Trump team prepares rescue package of at least $800 billion

The White House aims to deploy at least $800 billion in aid in the coming weeks to prop up the U.S. economy, as retailers, restaurants, sporting events and other businesses shut down and Americans slow their spending while staying home to guard against the coronavirus pandemic.

Among the administration’s targets this week: providing relief in the form of tax deferments, loans or even direct payments to airlines, the hospitality industry and small-to-medium businesses crippled by plunging demand.
Trump can't do anything unless the Democrat Congress passes a bill....the election of Pelosi as Speaker has skyrocketed the deficit just as it did in 2007-2010.

He’s trying to buy up votes at the taxpayers’ expense.

and European nations are opening up as much as 20% of their GDP (including poor spain)...20% of our GDP would be in the 5 trillion range

Try comparing those nice numbers to GDP. Spain's deficit relative to GDP is half of what ours is. Trump is certainly NOT conservative.

Try putting it in perspective. https://www.thebalance.com/us-deficit-by-year-3306306
