They can ask all the stupid questions they like, Trump won't roll over like Bush. We see them for what they are and opine accordingly. If you think what reporters like this are doing is reporting then you and I have a very different opinion on what it is to be a reporter.
More importantly, you and have a very different idea of what it is to be PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
So asking for assurances for Americans who are scared is a stupid question. Got it.

He was anything but calm. We just can't explain this enough, but many refuse to see what was actually said. It's very sad. Trump cannot assure the American people and this is where we are in the midst of a crisis. I hate it.
Trump is right. These aren't "Reporters". They don't report anything. They try to promote anti American propaganda by giving speeches, and making false accusations posed as questions. Good for Trump for calling them out.

I want the POTUS to do his job and only his job. I don't need him to make assurances or speak nice words to make me feel better. Why on earth does someone need that from an effing politician?
I just can't even with some of the replies on this thread. Thankfully most will see Trump's response for what it is -- the absolute unwillingness of a president to do something as simple as offer words of assurance to a country in the midst of a crisis that is worsening by the hour.
I think I'll just scroll through this thread from now on and not even try to appeal to reason. It can't be done, and I have a headache.
