If he got under DJT's skin with his questions, that probably makes him a good reporter. It is Trumpf who is squirming.

This phrase is nothing but groupthink. Loving and being critical are not mutually exclusive concepts. Many are critical of things they love because they want it to be better. It isn't a "Nobody hates Star Wars movies like Star Wars fans" situation of being critical. This is a we want our nation to work critical. Trump sucks and is hardly presidential. If he was like this with his own Republican Party. He should look at the Republican plan for the stimulus and say " I will VETO this, if it don't have what I want." He won't though because he is only tough on the media.

Trump got asked a question above his mental grade. He should have turned it over to the doctor to answer.

You are wrong.

By his initial comments about numbers going down, going to disappear, it appeared he was lying to us about the severity of the crisis. It is clear he knew this was going to be a huge crisis and he lied.

His lack of transparency, his thinking he knows about this stuff because he has feelings, has an uncle who was a mechanical engineer and a professor, etc....scares the daylights out of people.

He's a nut job. He will contradict medical experts proudly.

He's incompetent, self serving.

You go, Mr. President!

The media needs to be put in their place more often.

The only people I listen to in these briefings are Dr. Fauci and Dr. Brix. Most of the politicians are painting too rosy a picture, stroking egos for their “wonderful” response, if not directly giving out incorrect and untruthful info on miracle drug treatments not yet widely tested for the virus or military hospital ships arriving “next week” (nope, it will take weeks).

I do think Pence has co-ordinated a decent effort which began way too late. The daily briefings should mostly be Pence and the doctors.

The pained look on the doctors’ faces while false and misleading info is spouted tells the story. They realize the medical community knows exactly what is going on and they have the professional duty to support the truth.

Agreed. When he’s not verbally kneeling to Trump in these conferences, Pence is actually setting the right tone and showing that there is some leadership behind the facade.

Why Trump supporters are fine with him contradicting the medical experts on his team
is another question. Seems like Dear Leader has some super fans here-anyone want to weigh in?

Trump had a prefect chance to help the people feel safer and that some progress was being made. He blew a simple question because in the end he doesn’t have it in him to give a damn.

They shift when Trump shifts, because they want to support him no matter what he says. They have no credibility whatsoever.
