So simple. Stay away from people over 50. People over 50 need to quarantine, isolate. It is up to them if they want to live badly enough to take measures to do that and up to their children. We will never control this virus until we have herd immunity or a vaccine. It's easy to get herd immunity as it spreads like wild fire. Let the U50 crowd go about their business. Otherwise death and disease will drag on for years.

We can work on getting our economy back, but if we want to do that, we need comprehensive testing! Let’s work on getting tests to everyone that needs it and test often. We can do both if we focus on the right things!

Also, if we are opening back up next week, then we shouldn’t have a federal bailout whatsoever.

My guess is Trump will open things up next week Not sure if that matters if states continue to close.

Even if the under 50s get sick, and they will, they will have a benign course. Those that need hospital beds for a brief time will be able to get them if they are not all being taken up by people over 50. The under 50s will quickly gain immunity sufficient to stop the virus or slow it to the point that it can be managed in the over 50s after they are let out.
I hope the families of anyone under 50 who dies sues her arse. Hey, when can I get my government food? I've already been locked down for three weeks and I live alone. I'll be glad for the government to supply my food and delivery instead of having to search online at every store in town and pay a service to get it.

They were dumbasses. It's like an alcoholic drinking straight rubbing alcohol.
Yeah same thing, but TOTALLY different.

Same way as Hawaii- asking people to self quarantine.

Unlike Hawaii, Florida is not separated from the US mainland by 2500 miles of water.

Not a bad idea really. But I don't see it happening.

And where do you think they got the idea that could cure them?

There are actually threads here on CD saying to "unleash it" or the like. Yet even twice the daily dose can kill.

There is good reason we have the FDA and Science. There were mass deaths in the times before when info got out in the wrong fashion.

That unfortunately is not how a virus works. People don't develop immunity to a particular virus. RNA virus change and mutate. Though this current one is like SARS it's structure makes it impossible for a person who had SARS to be immune. It's a nice thought you posit.
