Please, the Spanish flu killed millions. And by 1920 speak easies were everywhere, and flappers were flapping. Humans are stupid and Americans are incredibly stupid. This will pass in due time, but before it does a whole lot more people gotta die.

I believe that things will go back to normal “whatever that means” at some point in time. For the seeable future
I see people taking more taking care to be more mindful of their surroundings when they are around some whose sick, much like after 911 happened. Hopefully they will also pay more attention to their own personal hygiene. Hopefully.

These numbers really do not mean anything...they are only testing a certain number of people, they have NO clue how many people actually have it (but havent been tested), that number is probably VERY high.

Negotiators will have to be called to the scenes of SF and NYC and Chicago and elsewhere to persuade city leadership to pick up the phone and release businesses. It could be November or later.

The businesses that survived will have to hire workers many of whom will be on the dole.
