The U.S. federal stockpile of N95 protective face masks was largely depleted during the 2009 swine flu outbreak and was not restocked.

So, from 2009 - 2017...why not? I mean, I'm just using the link provided....

Did trump restock them, nope...but lets do some math..

2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016....

vs.

2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.....

But, as long as you don't like trump, then it's all good.

So, if you don't like it, not my problem. You and the anti-trumpers cannot stand to go back in time to find fault with people you agree with, but if it's a person you disagree with...well, as we can see.

Attack, deflect, blame but never admit to a mistake. Straight out of the Trump playbook. I loathe that he and his cult members can never admit a mistake. Foolish for anyone but a wanna-be-dictator.

Did you notice today that Trump's ridiculous new "I will never lie to you" press secretary trotted out a new pandemic playbook this morning claiming that Obama's playbook was "insufficient." No details of Trump's playbooks were released. Ridiculous.

https://nypost.com/2020/05/14/trump-...aredness-plan/

Shocked. Absolutely shocked that Moscow Mitch admitted that Obama DID leave a pandemic playbook.

Default Montezuma County disputes state’s coronavirus death count

https://durangoherald.com/articles/3...us-death-count ( The Montezuma County Coroner’s Office is disputing the state’s claim of a third fatal case of the coronavirus in Cortez, saying the person died of alcohol poisoning.

County Coroner George Deavers said the person tested positive for COVID-19, but an investigation by him and the pathologist determined the cause of death was ethanol toxicity. The person’s blood-alcohol content was 0.55, or almost seven times the legal driving limit of 0.08 in Colorado, Deavers said. A BAC of 0.3 is considered lethal.) ( MY OP Keep trying to padding those numbers!!)

I never believed that lie because it defied common sense. I posted this in early March:

If masks and goggles weren't protective, why are they using them? It isn't only to protect the patient from the worker. Why did the CDC tell that nurse she couldn't have coronavirus because she was protected? Was she wearing a mask we don't know about?

I ordered masks in February, and first posted about it, here:

Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
Surgical masks do protect the wearer.

The right mask can help reduce the risk of facial exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. This protective apparatus is especially important in today's healthcare environment as hospitals and health systems are placing an added emphasis on HAI reduction, improving patient safety and protecting staff.

I see plenty of medical workers in the trenches only wearing surgical masks. They aren't doing this just to protect the public. They are primarily protecting themselves. I've also seen workers wearing surgical masks OVER their N95s.

Surgical masks come in various levels of protection.

The mask I bought is a Level 3 mask - four layers of instead of the usual three.

So they do have a pandemic plan who knew, it must have fell behind the filing cabinet.

Now we have the best pandemic plan ever!

Quote:
“The Obama-Biden plan that has been referenced was insufficient, wasn’t going to work, so what our administration did under the leadership of President Trump is do an entire 2018 pandemic preparedness report,” McEnany said.
“Beyond that, we did a whole experience on pandemic preparedness in August last year,” she continued, telling reporters they’d be given a full update at Friday’s press briefing.

How can anyone say with absolute certainty Anyone “recovers” from this? Longitudinal studies can’t exactly be done. Who’s to say it doesn’t leave you open to various other various diseases like AIDS/HIV or does long term damage to your vital organs

I suspect that anyone who's doing this covertly isn't using the proper PPE.

Well yeah. It seems to be a political statement NOT to wear PPE.
