Unbelievable... something really Hinky here.
A judge hiring a lawyer to defend his interests in a case he’s presiding over.
I always thought courts were supposed to address decisions by judges. So is the appeals court going to intervene in judicial cases from now on and dictate what a judge can and cannot hear in arriving at a decision.

Judge Sullivan hasn't refused anything at this point, he is considering his actions.

But I do agree that we have entered the twilight zone with Barr's decision, this was one of a kind or maybe there are other criminal convictions he also dropped. Maybe there was other recommended sentences by prosecutors like the Stone case that he injected himself.

In 2016, as the FBI was investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was Secretary of State, four top Clinton staffers hired Beth Wilkinson to represent them.

Wilkinson represented Cheryl Mills, who served as legal and political adviser to Clinton. She also represented Mill’s deputy, Heather Samuelson. Samuelson was the person who sorted Clinton’s emails into work and personal, so that the “personal” messages could be deleted.

And Wilkinson represented Clinton’s former deputy chief of staff Jake Sullivan, and Phillippe Reines, who served as Clinton’s spokesman and also used personal email for work purposes at State.

Washington D.C. is an Incestuous Swamp. Sullivan is 72, I see a retirement in his future.
There is some serious reason that he has hired a Defense Attorney. Do the Citizen Taxpayers have tp Pay for his VERY high cost Defense Attorney? The Circuit Court ordered Sullivan to respond to them by June 1.
Why does he think he needs a Defense Attorney to do that? He has just broken another Rule of Judicial Conduct. Those broken Rules in this case are piling up.

Code of Conduct for United States Judges

Why is he getting a lawyer?

What's he got to hide?

If he's got nothing to hide.......why get a lawyer?

To represent him in the appeals court, that is part of the process since the court is asking the questions.

Ahh. Still denying that Russia interfered in our election in order to elect Trump.

No doubt hoping they will do the same this year.

Radcliff doesn't even meet the criteria for the job. When his name was floated in 2019 - even Republicans wouldn't vote for him. Hence, his name was pulled.

He has NO experience in National Security. Zip. Zero. Zilch.

Feel safer now?

As of today, there is no proof Russia did anything but make some facebook posts.
