Speaking of lawyers :
Sidney Powell, lawyer for Gen. Flynn, gives a most robust defense proving her worth !!! She doesn't quit even while working for her client for free and no doubt spending her own money in defense of Flynn !!! That's extraordinary and the kind of commitment any defendant would love to have !!!

Michael Flynn's lawyer says Robert Mueller prosecuted her client to further Russian collusion hoax

https://www.foxnews.com/media/michae...sia-fox-nation

The attorney for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn is alleging that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team pursued Flynn's prosecution solely to prolong its investigation of President Trump.

"Mueller knew from Day One that the Russia hoax was blown to bits," she said. "They all knew that. They knew ... the 'Steele Dossier' -- all of that was an absolute hoax. The only way they could keep the Mueller investigation going was to create the obstruction hoax."

"[Mueller] receives the FBI files," he continued. "When he read those shouldn't he have walked over to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's office and said, 'Wait a minute, you've got no evidence here. My appointment is illegitimate and in violation of the special counsel regulation.' Shouldn't he have done that?"

"There are no Russians. There's nothing they don't have, Jack," he said. "And in fact, all the documentation that's now come forward, it's clear they didn't have anything... they didn't have anything from Flynn to all 17 agencies that gave all their information up. They had zero, zippo, nothing. So what the hell was Mueller doing?"

Why now ? Whats going on here ? Its an internal review !!! So nothing is going to be released unless its makes the FBI look good, IMO !!!

FBI Director Orders Internal Review Of Michael Flynn ... - NPR
https://www.npr.org/2020/05/22/86125...-investigation

The Inspection Division will lead the FBI's internal review. It does not have the authority to bring a criminal case, but it can evaluate whether any current employees engaged in misconduct that merits disciplinary action.

FBI director orders internal review of Flynn investigation - Los ...
https://www.latimes.com/world-nation...-investigation

The after-action review will examine whether any current employees engaged in misconduct during the course of the investigation and evaluate whether any improvements in FBI policies and procedures need to be made.

FBI Director Christopher Wray orders review of Michael Flynn ...
https://www.businessinsider.com/fbi-...n-probe-2020-5

Wray's decision comes as President Donald Trump and his allies double down on a conspiracy theory, dubbed Obamagate, that accuses the Obama administration of masterminding a "deep state" plot to target Flynn and sabotage Trump's presidency.

FBI Director Christopher Wray must know the truth is going to come out and his internal review is his way to control the damage !!!

Sen. Graham Seeks Names Of Obama Officials Who 'Unmasked' Trump Campaign Team
https://www.npr.org/2020/05/19/85904...-campaign-team
On Thursday, Graham's Judiciary Committee will vote on whether to give him the authority to subpoena documents and communication related to the FBI's investigation into any links between Trump associates and Russian officials.

"Given the extensive number of requests for the unmasking of General Flynn's name during this short time period, it raises the question of whether these or other officials sought the unmasking of the identities of other individuals associated with the Trump campaign or transition team," Graham wrote in a letter to Grenell and U.S. Attorney General William Barr.

Your contention is that an outside Defense Lawyer needs to explain to a Circuit Court why Judge Sullivan took the actions he took during the Flynn case .... when that Defense Lawyer never spent a day in the Court ..

AND

When the Circuit Court specifically ORDERED Judge Sullivan to explain his actions to the Court.

Sounds like it might be a delay-delay-delay tactic ... OR ... it could be that Sullivan is Lawyering up with a High Powered Expensive Lawyer because he knows he will need one.

You're really saying that Circuit Court judges routinely hire defense lawyers to present their cases to an Appellate Court. Even the WaPo called it a 'rare step.'

Even the majority of republicans know that Russia absolutely interfered in order to elect Trump. That evidence is clear.

On the MOST die-hard True Believers (surely overrepresented on this forum) believe that Russia did nothing.

So - we're back to the great 'unmasking' now?
