I didn't blame anything on Trump. I said his actions makes things like this more likely, not less likely.
I can only blame one entity for violence, and that's the person who committed it. I just think we can expect to see more of this, Trump is openly (not at all under the radar) calling for more violence at every juncture. He does at his rallies, he calls on cops for violence, he praises "fine people" and fails to call out the perps if they are in his base.
But no, I don't blame Trump for this guy's actions. I blame the person. He should know better than to listen to someone with Trump's track record. (Even if he's homeless, that's no excuse.)

And which people would that be? I intuit that you're hinting that this is all the fault of the conservative right. Close? Are there no leftists or liberals who are fed up with the lockdown as well?

Even if you support Trump for whatever reasons, how can you POSSIBLY support him to call for armed rebellions? It was like the time he publicly told police not to worry about injuring suspects during arrest.
And just like then, his base will come out and defend it, say it never happened, or tell us that he, the one who they elected because he always says exactly what he means, didn't mean exactly what he said.
Oh, of course! This is going to turn into another Trump hate-fest!

Well that is good to know that you dont blame trump.
but are you saying a homeless man should not have heard/seen Trumps tweet "liberate"?
One thing that I can't stand is the mantra from Team Red and even bleeding into a few anarchist circles (folks who should clearly know better) is this idea that stress from the lockdown excuses or at the very least "softens" the culpability of those who violate the non-aggression principle during this time.
Just because you were raped doesn't mean you have carte blanche to rape someone else.
Lol.
Look at you and your Ivory Tower view from your subsidized perch in the peoples Republik of Kalifornia Mr. Purist.
Batsh*t nutters exist everywhere (but especially in anarchist wonderlands), and this particular one didnt care about a non aggression principle (that's your bag man, not his).Crazy machete guy was upset about the fact he couldn't get to his subsidized "Rescue Shelter" when he felt like going, so chopping up people seems to be a good thing to do.
This particular team Red guy is wondering if the chopped up couple had any defense training or inclinations to such, not excusing a crazy homeless nutter.

I know it's "my bag".
Especially since I'm responding to someone who openly condones and supports the raping, robbing, and killing of innocents in pandemic and non-pandemic times.
And ivory tower?
I thought I was a bum who got a $1,200 check from your lord and savior?
And which people would that be? I intuit that you're hinting that this is all the fault of the conservative right. Close? Are there no leftists or liberals who are fed up with the lockdown as well?
Both sides actively support giving the State the discretion to do what it's doing. Neither side can complain.
If I had been around when that happened, I would have gone all Bruce Willis on the guy, subdued him with a few quick punches and a choke hold, and topped it off with a witty one liner.
