I don’t really need the kneeling, personally, but if white America gave a sincere and genuine apology for their mistreatment of black people and if they actually worked to make some kind of amends for it, that would be a nice gesture.

But expecting such humanity and decency from a lot of white people may as well be like expecting an intellectual conversation from a dog.

If White people and mainly white liberals want to kneel for George Floyd, they can kneel for him. But how does kneeling expunge someone from being racist? What I noticed is this. Their is a codependent relationship between white liberals and black academics/thought leaders. White liberals need black thought leaders to feel good, feel rightcious, and be free from the sin of racsim, while black academics and black thought leaders get a natural high by telling white people mainly white liberals what to do and how to be and live. It is a very cringy system and its almost like an archaic version of an organized religion.
