I don't know what the reaction "should" be. What do you suggest? Do we introduce even more protected classes? I'm not much of a fan of that. Do we get rid of "at will" employment? Don't like that much, either.

Realization that red state America and blue state America cannot reconcile or even function together in a government at all is growing daily. Open discussion of breaking up the country or potential civil war are now common. Maybe you want that. You shouldn’t as the left would lose big time.

It took 4 years for the Yankees to subdue us. Today the red states are much more than just the south. The red states are the growing prosperous states that have the resources and people. We are far more powerful today and if a civil war did come we would hold all the cards. If you think this pathetic riotous group of BLM and ANTIFA youth will take this country you are delusional. We are working to fix things in a way that does not further damage our democracy for now.
