Yea, but where are all those shining Republican run cities on hill that have all the answers? Dont Republicans just put homeless people on bus to one of the Democrat run cities. Make it somebody else's problem.....
Are they inept, don't care, or are the democrat politicians benefitting too much by all the carnage and destruction to make any changes? (they are benefitting by keeping their office & income to keep it as is).
Is the reason the same in every city, or does it vary city to city?
I think in Chicago, they just don't care. They seem content letting the gangbangers kill each other off. That could work if we shut down the Mexican border, but there are more Mexican cartel gangsters moving to Chicago each day than there are gangbangers getting murdered.
Maybe we need to bring back Eric Holder and his Fast and Furious free guns program, and hand them to everyone standing on the street corners in South Chicago. Maybe increasing the murder rate would be better since the Dems wont close down the border, or end sanctuary cities?
From their perspective the cities are "fixed". The priorities are:
An intown area of 10% to 20% of the city where property values are high and the affluent, educated white elite live within walking distance to upscale shopping and entertainment. This enclave is all the really matters. It is a "safe space" and a groupthink bubble, a perch from which to look down on the flyover country deplorables.
City govt. officials who parrot the DNC daily talking points.
A bloated and highly paid city workforce which include plentiful do-nothing jobs for left wing activists.
A large population of unemployed/unemployable people to service as a customer base for city "services".
So long as the poor souls under theri control keep voting for them, they win. How to save the poor souls from the Dems, and us too? If the Dems cant and wont fix it, how do we appeal to the victims who have been brainwashed?

They are called SUBURBS! The republicans left the cities and created their own new existance out in the 'burbs. Now, we want to save the inner city blacks from the Democrats, and show them there is a much better existance. The Dems cannot and/or will not give them a better life. They must choose a better life for themselves, and we must help them make it happen.

They say they just need another 100 years in office and then they can get it right. Just don't hand it over to anyone else, because that would be too much of a risk.

I think we start with an American history lesson, followed up by a history lesson in the last 50 years how they've been lied to by Dems, and hwo they got to where they are now, and howlife could be so much better.
I realize many of the drug addicted gang bangers are lost causes, but I'm speaking to the others who are trapped in their midsts.
