Only communists demand that we see and categorize politics through an economic lens, and not the social politics lens through which they actually exist.
Let's see you come back and start a thread about any other trillion in any other budget category that isn't emergency-related social relief (not that I necessarily agree with any of it). The point is that it isn't coming. You merely hate Trump's base.
I think that your commander: America-hating Bill Kristol has a new tweet. Better take a break at CD and get over to Twitter to read it.
Well thanks for the chuckle over that brilliant diatribe that actually discussed nothing.
Other than the typical name calling and label making from the far right. You're a chip off of Dear Leaders shoulders.
The last time we had fiscal responsibility is when Newt Gingrich and the GOP Congress were around. Who has been as such since? Obama? Don't make me laugh.
No, the Covid relief was a bipartisan bill. Pelosi-McConnel-Trump worked together and agreed. Denying the obvious is a fool's errand.
The bill took the money of your pocket and gave it to me? Wow, why does that sound stupid?
True. Not rioting, just lying your tail off in this thread.
My voting record is all over the map and none of your f---- business. I did note vote for Trump. I take it you really feel stupid now.
Now, dust off your high school civics textbook and learn how Congress and spending works. Because you have no clue.
The fact is recent history shows Republican congresses restrict spending only when they don’t hold the executive branch.

Accusations of lying? F-Bombs...... Calling posters stupid...... You angry or something? Did a neighborhood kid give you the evil eye? You should change your screen name to "Anger Boy".
I know how Congress and spending works, and I know veto power is.
So, your messiah is in the WH so you want to lay it all on the feet of the House. Let's see......GOP won the House in 2010, and held it until 2019, and debt increased by 10 trillion, and now this bi-partisan bill increased it by another 4 trillion and Trump is asking for more.

Yes, a gridlock is a good thing.
No, I do not think you do.
The CARES Act- that is what we are talking about here- was passed in a near unanimous vote in the Democratic-controlled house and a unanimous vote in the GOP-controlled Senate. Translated: Everybody on both sides supported that.
And Trump was supposed to veto that? No president in history would have done that.
And no Finn_Jarber, it is Nancy Pelosi who wants more:
And if Trump vetoes that, you will be the first to condemn him.
Then we can talk about Barack Obama and his American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (aka Porkulus) and how much that cost. Then we can move on to Obamacare and look at how much that costs.
I am sure you will look at it objectively.

Reason: Name calling
The debt....while not a good thing in general, CAN be a good thing if it helps avoid damaging our economic infrastructure. But the reality is....billionaires got 583 billion RICHER as the coronavirus hit. Everyone else? Not so much. The last bill was bad. The poor folks got some small amount of help, while the richest 1% not only kept their wealth...but they increased it by half a trillion. Everyone else? Got poorer.
You have such persuasive 'arguments'. You got the F-bombs, false accusations, personal attacks, the "let me tell you what you think" line, and all the other good stuff Trump apologists use in their 'arguments'.
Have a nice day anger-boy.
