Exactly. If this is all it takes for you to abandon the Constitution we are in dire straits indeed.

I would prefer they just open fire during the violent protests and sort out the bodies later.

And there you go. Justifying murdering peaceful protesters just because someone near them threw a rock. Disgusting.

Terrorists? American citizens! Where does DHS get the authority to arrest an American citizen?

This is a tipping point - DHS is functioning as Trump's very own SS. This should scare the hell out of anyone who cares about America and our freedoms.

Just because someone near them threw a rock. Yeah, what harm could from a rock being thrown at you? Wow.

While wearing helmets, and riot gear that can stop bullets? Not much. The correct response would have been to send a small team into the crowd to grab the guy who threw the rock. But apparently thats too much like hard work, and its easier to just trample on all the other people theres right to protest.

If it was more of the crowd involved my opinion would be different.

.
It would be like a outfielder throwing the runner out at home from the left-field wall, without benefit of a cut-off man. Not something most people could do.

But regardless, do you think if students at Kent State threw rocks at the National Guard that was justification for shooting them dead? If so, you are one sick puppy.

That gives you justification to go after the rock thrower. Not open fire on a crowd of non-rock-throwers.
