Given the incubation period of COVID can be up to 14 days and some people can be asymptomatic, you probably do know conclusively know that your employees didn't get it unless 14 days have passed and they tested negative.

What you do know is that someone at your bar tested positive. Wither they got it there or not is not known. As well as how contagious they were, if they were infected when they were at the bar. Likewise the casino maybe the most likely place you got it but then again unless you were not in the bar for 14 days with someone else you can't rule that out either. In addition you personally likely exposed your employees to COVID unless for some weird reason you decided to stay away from the bar.

Plus more trips to the restroom when drinking in bars. Restrooms are small rooms with no air circulation.

I'd be even happier to see them permanently disappeared, and just cited as missing as they hid their faces and names when running amuck - who knows who was taken and when if they were trying to hide from even being part of what they were doing at the time.

If that's the rules they wish to play by, then see how they cry when such tactics are used against them.

Nor do I need to listen to you, Karen, when you point me out in public as being "maskless" and it causes you discomfort. I've had enough and would not take to it lightly. Be warned.
Easy to threaten somebody when you're an anonymous poster on an anonymous forum, lol. You need to get over yourself.

This is a very easy to understand article with pictures that explain why bars (or any enclosed space) is a vector for spread of COVID, or any disease.

Please look at the article before you start to complain

I know that this is a hot issue, that's why I posted it here. Mods, feel free to move it if you deem necessary
Then why are dictatorial morons closing beaches and parks? The very opposite of "poorly ventilated, enclosed spaces"? For too many of those in power, this is about an exercise in power, not controlling the Chinabug.

Look, I don't care what kind of filtration system bars have, it will be inadequate. Every patient I ever had with an airborne/droplet precaution had a negative pressure room. Every visit to that room required proper PPE which included an N95. Do you think a filtration system is going to protect you in a bar full of people talking? It's ridiculous. You know how loud those bars get. I would never go in a bar right now. The thought just gives me the willies. I don't care how bad I want that Sangria margarita. It isn't worth the risk.

My personal favorite... if you're boating or on a boat in Florida ... 50' social distance is required from another boat. However the DNR guy came right up along side to remind me.... then that awkward pause on my part happened.

Say Wha?

Outdoor bars on beaches are probably a better environment. The combination of UV and ambient air flow help reduce the risk. I'm not sure that a pool bar would be a good idea though.

The new executive order by Governor Ron DeSantis requires boats to remain at least 50 feet apart and no more than 10 people allowed on the boat. But not everyone was keeping a social distance over the weekend .https://weartv.com/news/local/new-bo...virus-pandemic
