It is an opinion shared by many health professionals. Beyond those cherry-picked by media to support their narrative.

I take it you don't know many health care professionals.

Ok, forget I said I know people who work in the healthcare industry.

Do you actually believe hospitals have unlimited resources so that they can keep everyone onboard like before?

It is simple arithmetic.

I really don't get what the big deal is. Just wear a freaking mask.
I am fine with wearing masks around other people in places of business that require it. However, masks are not a panacea and even Fauci and other so called experts say they really don't do anything. Plus, most States, Cities and business say a regular scarf or bandanna is fine to satisfy their masks requirements. Which tells me that the mask thing is silly as scarfs and bandannas do nothing for medical purposes.

So, again, I don't think this posses a significant enough risk to shutdown the economy like we did. If you feel at risk, wear a mask and self isolate.

I don't know. I'm an investor, not a healthcare professional specializing in viral infections or whatnot. I do what they tell me to do, which is wear a freaking mask in public places and don't go to crowded places. I also stay the hell away from my elderly parents.

They do. And that's why we should not forcibly restrict people and ruin their livelihood over a hoax response to the Flu. You want Communism and Fascism? Now you have it and it ain't pretty. Sieg Heil to the Democrats and Media!

why is our whole life changed and things are shut down and people's livelihoods is sacrificed to something that's barely more than a common cold?

Is this just a government test worldwide to see how much they can terrify and control us?
The common cold doesn't kill 146,000 people in less than six months.

Flus, colds, other illnesses, traffic deaths, medical mistakes, accidents, black on black murder, other murders, etc. All life risks. 146,000 out of a country of 330 MILLION plus at least 25 million illegal aliens and that is not a reason to lock down anything. At this point, this is purely political and has been for months now.

We do know the mortality rate. It's around .1%.

Please turn off ABC news.

Keeping the bolded in mind........

What's the one thing that seems to be conspicuous in its absence in all this?

Especially with everyone on the planet walking around the a video camera in their pockets.......

Besides it is easy for overwhelm a hospital when they have laid off 1/2 their staff previously.

I feel like this has gotten completely out of control.... the world -o-meter stats now control my freedom. While every day I go to the store and see people over 70 shopping during the regular hours.
