That's great! Problem is there can be a razor thin line between protestors and rioters. Big difference! Protesting is fantastic! Rioting and causing civil commotion? Not so fantastic. Lastly, the media seems to have a very difficult time discerning between the two as well.
Most of the polls get the answer they want and are designed to get !!! That's why so many have no faith in them !!! Everything has been infected by politics and polls are no exception !!!
Another way to put it: most democrats support violence and most republicans do not. most republicans don't have to virtue signal since they think for themselves.
They may well be supportive of these things but this in itself doesn't tell us anything.
How was it worded? Who was part of the sample they used? How big was the sample and what were their demographics? Where do they fall in the political spectrum beyond just listing their political party? How often do they watch the news and are they aware of the destruction and not just peaceful protests?
I support racial justice protests, too. I do not support the violence, destruction and chaos we've seen following George Floyd's murder.
