Two thirds of all Americans support the racial justice protests held across the country this spring and summer, according to a recently released Gallup poll. Gallup is commonly considered the "gold standard" of polling. In investigating further, a majority of all sub-groups, including those designated by race and age, support the protests, as well as a majority of Democrats and independents. The only sub-group that does not support the protests are, unsurprisingly, Republicans.

Let's see how many still support it when the 'peaceful protesters' come to their neighborhood to riot.

I wonder how many people would actually: "I support BLM demonstrating through my neighborhood."

We had a couple demonstrations here. They were peaceful and on public spaces. Nothing bad happened. VERY heavy police presence on the edges. Everyone went home. Works for me.

Locals were specifically working around the outside edges looking for outsiders trying to infiltrate. None were found.

I would have to see how the questions were phrased. These polls are often done to generate very specific results.
I can't support racism or racist regardless of who they aim it at.

Peaceful protests are one thing and consistent with our Natural Rights protected by the Constitution. Violence, property destruction, riots, looting, arson, etc., is NOT supported by most Americans.

When you only call random numbers in Seattle, Portland, and Minneapolis these are the results I would expect.

Was there a follow up question that asked how many support physical assaults, murder, destruction of property, arson and theft/looting?

No?

Huh.

Gallup is not known for push polls, and is generally regarded as the gold standard of polling. In fact, here's an article touting Trump's popularity (obviously some time back) that makes that very claim about Gallup in its big, bold headline: https://www.businessinsider.com/trum...el-poll-2018-6

If you feel it was a push polll, hqocer, investigate and get back with us later in this thre3ad.

I was ready for deniers to come out of the woodwork because the facts don't suit their narrative. You're the prefect representative for that skewed voice, so I'll call out your post and let my words stay in for all the other deniers sure to follow.
