The Republicans came to the center after the Goldwater debacle. The Democrats came to the center after the McGovern debacle. The Democrats went even further left after Hillary because they didn't lose bad enough. Trump needs to trounce the Dems and then they should come back to the center.
In the last hundred years there have only been 2 Presidents the people actually had enough support, the rigged shadowstate system could not overcome.

Wrong. The EXTREME left might believe this. They're as nuts as the extreme right is. Moderate, rational Democrats believe in having controlled, sensible, LEGAL immigration.
I'm a "liberal," I tend to vote Democrat, and I simply don't understand why the US government -- Republicans and Democrats -- didn't begin to crack down on illegal immigration as soon as it began to be a significant problem. Why have they allowed it to continue for decades? Why? Why do they not go after the many employers (lots of them Republicans) who hire them?
Don't forget that millions of people who vote are LEGAL immigrants themselves, and they're as ticked off as anyone by the passes that illegals receive.

Trump, however, talks a good game (i.e. the wall, etc), but why hasn't HE cracked down on employers who hire illegals? That's where the problem lies.
If potential illegal immigrants believed they wouldn't be hired in the US, if they didn't already have friends and family who had entered the US illegally and who had easily found employment and set up lives in the US, they wouldn't be incentivized to enter illegally themselves.
Tell me, what radical ideas have ever been pushed by trump.

Cutting Social Security and Medicare by blocking the method of funding those programs.
Rescinding the Affordable Care Act, which would throw millions off insurance, including for pre-existing conditions, with no replacement program.
Declaring a bogus state of emergency so he could build a wall that Congress refused to fund.
Cuttng taxes on the wealthy while at the same time increasing government spending, with the redictable result of a jump in the deficit, during a period of economic expansion.
