There's no way we'll have moderate politics until the left returns to the middle. They've done nothing but embrace the fringes for a decade now.

In the last hundred years there have only been 2 Presidents the people actually had enough support, the rigged shadowstate system could not overcome.
Reagan & now Trump.

All other puppets running against each other, were hand picked by the shadow government. That way no matter who won they had someone they could control.
For years, it didn't matter which party you voted for, the people always got the same wrong end of the sick.

Republicans gave too much power to the orange clown and now he will become their potential reason for extinction.
Ha, lol. Only in your MSM brainwashed mind does this happen. More like moderate democrats are going to have to decide what they want. I could see a faction of them breaking off, so we have the socialist party, democrat party and Republican Party.

Will we ever bring this country back from the brink of extremism? its really scary what's going on. We don't have moderates anymore its either you join my party ideology or you're a traitor and get primaried voted out.

We need a voice of reason candidate I think Biden is as close as we can get at this point. But even he will prob be controlled by the fringe sad.
I think the far left is just too hateful for that to happen again. They hate themselves, hate humans and hate the US and its history to the point we are done with moderate thinking. Too much anger. When you have a group that hates themselves and are violent like the far left, it just feeds on itself. Gotta hand it to them though. They got what they wanted. They want the US destroyed. They sure are a depressed echo-chamber.

Some of us liberals turned away from "MSM" LONG before criticism of it became mainstream. Some of us think independently.

The MSM is, and has long been, sensationalized, commercialized, dumbed-down garbage more than it is "liberal indoctrination." I include Fox News in that mix.

Why have they allowed it to continue for decades? Why? Why do they not go after the many employers (lots of them Republicans) who hire them?

Don't forget that millions of people who vote are LEGAL immigrants themselves, and they're as ticked off as anyone by the passes that illegals receive.
Both parties have failed us. Both parties love illegal immigration. The democrats for the voters they bring in, and the republicans for the cheap corporate labor.

Who's left holding the bag and paying the bill? That's right - middle America - the very same people who put Trump into office.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you, but I am.

Trump, however, talks a good game (i.e. the wall, etc), but why hasn't HE cracked down on employers who hire illegals? That's where the problem lies.

If potential illegal immigrants believed they wouldn't be hired in the US, if they didn't already have friends and family who had entered the US illegally and who had easily found employment and set up lives in the US, they wouldn't be incentivized to enter illegally themselves.

Just for starters.....

Cutting Social Security and Medicare by blocking the method of funding those programs.

Rescinding the Affordable Care Act, which would throw millions off insurance, including for pre-existing conditions, with no replacement program.

Declaring a bogus state of emergency so he could build a wall that Congress refused to fund.

Cuttng taxes on the wealthy while at the same time increasing government spending, with the redictable result of a jump in the deficit, during a period of economic expansion.

See this right here is an example of why people can't have a civil conversation. Just listen to yourself:

"They hate themselves, hate humans and hate the US..." Does any of that make even a shred of sense? They hate humans? What are they, extraterrestials come to destroy the planet?

Come on, you forgot "they hurt God"!
