It just is so much more professional. The Democrats actually had one of their speakers talking from her kitchen! (I remember because her cabinets were so outdated.)
Yeah, I saw that! I guess being second is an advantage this year. At least they can see what works and what doesn’t.
Even though a Republican woman would be the one I’d want as first president, what Republican woman could withstand the nastiness that will be thrown her way by Democrats and the press? No matter what she’d be liked she would get the Sarah Palin treatment.
I recall Palin dishing out nasty comments, like the GOP were about family values and the Democrats were not. Then less than a week later her teenage, unmarried daughter had a baby. The media covered it. She was shown to be a hypocrite on that issue and if you can't take it, don't dish it out.
