Notify me when the players all get together and offer a billion dollars to the city of Chicago.
As a resident of Chicago, I would love for the BLM NFL players to donate and work to improve the city. God knows countless billions have been spent by the government with little to show for it. Maybe these know how to spend better?

They will relent if revenue suckers.

Corporations have no soul, people. Stop pretending they do. Right now the humanities graduates in the "diversity departments" of these companies are telling their higher-ups that this is the virtue signalling the country wants.

It will last only as long as the revenue doesn't take a hit. So.... if you're against their messaging.... then don't give them any eyeballs on the games or money in their revenue stream.

The majority of the players & a good percentage of the staff & coaches are people of color. The few white players are also on board.

Like they said last night, the players want to do something. I say good for them for at least caring & wanting unity & equality. This is a start, & they'll do more. I hope they do more to help promote equality. But even if they gave a billion dollars to inner city Chicago most of you on here would still criticize them because there's racial undertones to a lot of this hate. It doesn't take a college degree to see that.
Take away the multi-millionaire players and they're working at McDonald's. And the last thing America needs is what the NFL has become. Good riddance to this NFL.

No game without the players. It’s a 2 way street.

I’m entertained by the amount of people who won’t watch the NFL but can’t stop talking about it.

If they all "go against the grain" together, then maybe all of this can be put behind and people can just enjoy the "game".

Real change comes outside the football stadium. Be a big brother, spend some money helping communities, support Boys & Girls clubs, support single moms, teach fathers how to be "dads"... then you will have some real change.

Lmao at thinking someone protesting for equality is an eff you to America. What type of America do you want? One where people can’t protest or use the first amendment?

You guys would’ve been out here booing Jackie Robinson when sports were integrated. Sports has always been about more than the game.

When they don't sell enough tickets, they'll either raise ticket prices or they'll have to cut player salaries at contract time. Food vendors and souvenir vendors will lose jobs/income. If interest drops at home, people will drop ESPN - more job loss. If people don't pack the stadiums, restaurants will suffer when games are over. There will be less people riding public transportation on game days in cities so less revenue for the cities. They may have to raise fares to make up for it. All because of demanding wealthy athletes.

I already addressed your first point. We don't need or want this group. There will be a new game....with new players....under new management....who have their heads on straight.

You're certainly easily entertained.
