Makes me wonder why they were even there, which is a show of support, at least financially.

I was a big NFL fan, but I don't plan on going to any games or even watching on TV until the NFL regains their senses. If teams want to inject politics into sports, that is their prerogative. It's mine, not to watch.

It was a moment for unity.

If you oppose unity all day long, but booing is still disrespectful. Booing by definition is a display of contempt or disrespect.

The official one. You? Yes most cancellation targets survive and pro sports will also survive the right-wing cancellation attempt.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

And that is a lot different from organizing a twitter campaign or protesting at the site as the gays did at Chik-Fil-A.

Correct. The choice to cancel them is yours. Everyone can make that decision at personal level.

Go Dolphins!!

Slightly different flavors of the same thing.

Cancel culture: Cancel culture refers to the popular practice of withdrawing support for (canceling) public figures and companies after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive.

You are offended (triggered) by something some players do or say before the game, so you boycott aka cancel the entire sport.

They got you. They managed to get you to make a lifestyle change over politics

Personally, I am not into boycotting anything. I go to Starbucks and other establishments that have liberal leadership, and I am fine with it because when I go to these places, it is not in my face. It does not diminish the experience in any way.

If these places start hanging BLM posters, antifa signs, or Biden paraphernalia inside, then I will stop going to them. But as long as they are not throwing it in my face, I am fine with it.

The difference is, these sports teams are throwing it in my face, so I won't be watching them as log as they do. I'm not going around telling anyone else not to watch. Though I do find it strange that people would pay money to people that they are booing. That doesn't seem rational to me.

I didn't notice anything during Thursday ACC game. I'll let you know if I notice something during tomorrow NFL game, but I doubt it since the broadcast begins at kick-off, which is after the pre-game ceremonies which I never watch anyway.

They got to you. They got you to change your behavior, but like I said the choice to cancel is yours. No one is forced to watch sports.

Change in behavior is not a bad thing. I guess it could be, but it can also be a good thing. Perhaps I will use my time more productively than watching a bunch of strangers playing a children's game.

Ahh watching sports has always been boring to me. I would rather play sports. I hope that I can avoid the awkward small talk with people who talk about the local sports teams. I never got the allure to watching sports, I would rather read a book or watch YouTube videos.

I will be happy if more people can join my side lol. Hearing people talk about stuff as meaningless as sports at work and social events is a bore. To each their own.

I’m so sick of liberals spinning use of force into punishment for committing a crime.

Use of force is based on actions in a given moment in time.

I would respect the NBA more if the message on the court was “Stop fighting with police and comply with lawful orders”.

Saying "black boys" is racist!! You have been reported to the CD Stasi!!
