Trump didn't pay that much in taxes? Well he is making up for it now. Peace talks in the Middle East and all, so tell the Dems to JUST SHUT UP. Election years are crazy and I don't expect it to settle down until after the election.
just to do their work for them, if one does some reading then they'll find out about $110MM of $125MM (rough figures, I linked to the story) of his charitable deductions were for conservation easements at properties "he" owns.

The problem is that the rich makes the rules and until that changes it’s not going to stop.

That is something the left just loves. Preserving the land and limiting future development. Get a tax deduction.

Likewise, if they are just arguing with him over a tax deduction not involving fraud they would have already disallowed the deduction and sent him a bill. Not all disputes with IRS over what can or cannot be deducted turn into a case of tax fraud.

The reality is they don't like to go to court unless they think they have a sure win.

It is not uncommon for tax laws to have ambiguities in them that can allow an accountant to use them in a way the IRS did not anticipate or intend them to be used.

Why is it always a liberal who has to correct a right-winger?

The Most Brazen Trick Trump Tried to Pull on His Taxes

Trump claimed to have abandoned a partnership interest in that same floundering casino business, generating the loss. However, he may have received an equity interest in the reorganized casino entity, which undermines his claim of “abandonment” and should have prevented him from taking the loss.

I applaud the few right-wingers who are still here defending their cult leader when most cultists have already given up.

It must be exhausting having to constantly fight facts.

They refuse to know.

“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York tweeted that she paid thousands of dollars in federal taxes in 2016 and 2017 — when she was still working as a bartender in New York City. “He contributed less to funding our communities than waitresses & undocumented immigrants,” she wrote. The Biden campaign video showing the typical income tax paid by various workers amplified the attack.”

How about other taxes - payroll, sales?
