No it is not over and it is very close.

The only thing we know for sure is that polling organizations, of which also influences media reporting early in the election process, isn't working properly.

No. Biden may win ALL the remaining states - and DWT will still have 213 (40%) electoral votes, meaning he would lose, but not overwhelmingly so. I don't think anyone would refer to it as a landslide. Historically - at least 150 years back - no loser in a landslide received more than 20% of the electoral votes.

No matter who wins - it should be clear to everyone that at least 60,000,000 people disagree with one or the other. The past 4 years have barely moved that number.

Both sides need to dump the extremes and move toward the middle. 4 years of telling people they're just wrong accomplished nothing. True for both sides.
The right wing media can't make money off of that.

Polls are a bigger hindrance to Democrats than the Electoral College. When they are so off they impact decisions about where money and campaign stops go, make them misread public opinion. Clearly the unrest was a far bigger factor than covid.

If Biden wins all the remaining swing states it doesn't change the fact the polls were showing Biden 8 to 13 points higher than current popular vote, a mere 2% lead.

So far it's panning out pretty much as I thought. No blue wave, and possibly Biden getting a slim victory.

When it is over, and Trump is declared the winner, will you answer then? Probably not...you'll just run, hide, & sulk.

For months I've read post, after post, after post, how the polls had Biden up big, and how Trump was toast.

So, why are we sitting here in limbo this morning?

You were all lied to...by your own team! Ouch...that must hurt. They played you like a fiddle.

All those pollsters cared about was themselves...selling advertising...they never cared about you, or how you would feel right now.

So, go ahead...cling to your baby blanket of hope, & climb into your shell of denial that you'vee been had...again!
I don't see much of a chance of Trump winning enough of what's left to take the Presidency, but it certainly is not a landslide in the least for Biden. It is a squeaker and no blue wave. Democrats lost seats in the House and Republicans keep the Senate. Republicans control the SCOTUS, so this all means Harris/Biden get the paycheck, but no results in policy. It's a great day in America!

I think so too. I’m relieved this morning, although it’s unfortunate that the better presidential candidate may lose. So even if we get stuck with the senile old man and the Marxist-leaning token black female, the damage they can inflict can be blocked. No packing the Court. No packing the Senate. No major redistribution socialist policies. Whew.

Sorry the mouth breathing, cousin-marrying, dirt eating contingent is fading in some states.

You're talking about half the country.

The right wing media can't make money off of that.

See above for contrary sentiment.

This is what I'm talking about. That kind of nonsense is what we call "complaining." Improving things won't happen without "changing."

Hahaha. Claims that the polls were still right after the 2016 election were pretty silly. Claiming that the polls were still right after this fiasco shows complete detachment from reality.

You're making up different scenarios in your fevered imagination. Might be time to take a nap and come back better rested.

Fear not! As the popular vote shows, plenty of America is still stupid or racist or both.
Yeah, Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, Newark, Baltimore, etc. sure are bastions of the "educated."
