It is very different for a president and others to be claiming fraud without any proof, the burden of proof is for those making the claim. Besides who exactly would be doing the investigation, we all ready have Boards of Election to determine fraud but I see where Trump wants Barr to investigate.

It is the right of both dems and republicans monitors to view ballots and tabulations. When dems blocked all monitors, it was illegal. Our elections only work when we trust the system. Once our trust in a fair election system is gone, it's over. It is not relevant who lost or won or what the fraud was. It is the appearance of fraud alone which is enough to derail democracy.
