I used to work with an older woman who had an uncle who was a cop in a neighboring town next to Newark NJ in the 1950s. She told me that back then, if they saw a person of color in their town, the cops would beat the person up, and drive them back to Newark to send a message to not be in their neighborhood.

That reminds me of stories where cops would just drop you off in the wrong neighborhoods.
When the stormfront types would post threads like this showing a black person doing something bad and holding up as condemnation of a larger group (like oh, whites in their 50's) I would report them and help get them banned.
Why you have to act like them? You need some serious introspection.
This was real in NYC. This video is taken in Eastern Queens which is known for its black middle class areas. This part of Queens has a higher gpd tax bracket than some middle class white neighborhoods. Clearly this disdane and hatred towards blacks is not real racism, but from economics which generate hatred.
The first thing I started thinking was "they wouldn't do that if they feared getting beaten up for it". I'll admit that when I was in high school, I hit a kid for calling me the "N" word. My father told me I should only hit someone if they hit me first, not over being called names, no matter how ugly. At the time, I looked at it like this. People who would call me the "N" word are bullies who felt like they could push me around. At the time, my thinking was "the only thing said persons understand is violence".
Would I do that now? No. I don't want to go to jail for assault. But seeing that video, one thing I started thinking was "it's obvious those kids will only understand violence".
What the hell does 1975 have to do with 2020? Many people who were once racists have evolved and we are far less racist than we were back then. But you lefties like to keep racism alive, don't you?
Kewl find from 45 years ago! If we had the internet in 1975, maybe someone would have posted something from 1930.
45 years ago?...this is just about the time Biden entered the Senate, he's sure made a difference.
