Trump will probably pardon himself and his kids associates before he leaves office and it will probably be challenged by the SC.
federals pardons don't give you immunity for State crimes which the NY AG and the NY Da are looking at various crimes.
He will probably spend his whole private life in litigation I doubt he will go to the slammer not many politicians do.
No one has answered me yet - Why would they need pardons in the first place? Is Donnie saying they all committed crimes?
Judge Sullivan, BTW, is getting ready to drop the hammer on the "preemptive pardon" malarkey, maybe this week. When he does, Flynn will be back in the crosshairs of Justice again.
Well it certainly would be precedent setting. I'm not sure the Biden administration would want to pursue that though unless Trump remains a threat to the nation.
Joe has already stated several times that he will stay out of the way of DOJ and let them do what they decide to do.
It doesn't even have anything to do with who will be the new AG.
The stupidity from the left on this issue is getting old.
The argument really is stupid, though. Firstly, there is no crime of obstruction as the president directs agencies and officers under his purview. Moreover, a president or politician generally is immune from criminal prosecution for acts carried out under their official duties at all times.
