Id like to ask the hate America crowd - If you hired plumbers to install bathroom in your house and upon completion of work the water lines didnt work, improper tub was installed and shortcuts were made that didnt pass inslectiom and you had to knock it out and redo all the work from the start, would you pay your contractor? Thats exactly what happened.

another good REASON TO LEAVE STATUES OF REBEL SOLDIERS.

AC was not a Trump business failure.

In addition to statues of rebel soldiers, which other traitors to the US would you like to have immortalized in stone?
Or, were you unaware that those rebels committed treason against The US?

If you don't want all of the people who committed treason against The US to be honored in that way, then your selectivity is an indicator of hypocrisy.

Hmmmm...

You won't get anywhere with your logic in this forum with plenty and "x" amount of dems/liberals (sorry for the political mention) as they'll pound and pout "suspect at best facts" to hold "him" as "low of the low" in their minds IMO.

And NO, I absolutely would NOT pay those plumbers.

NJ fought on the union side....

Melt the rebel statues down and use the metal to expand to the nj transit coast line to AC.

This will create the beautiful infrastructure that DJT promised.

IF people/contractors wrongfully got hurt - no good.
IF people/contractors did substandard work - I wouldn't pay them either.

In Kind question: "IF" a democrat/liberal did the same, would you be as critical of him or her?
As for me it doesn't matter who, as right is right, wrong is wrong - I don't discriminate AFTER I got the facts and not potential propaganda.
How true are most of the stories about people getting hurt? Do we really really know for sure, not by people/publications/media hating on someone BS-ing? Again, we don't know for sure - having said this (again) I don't discriminate AFTER I got the facts and not potential propaganda.
I would be absolutely critical of a Democrat. What you are forgetting is Trump WAS a Democrat when he did all this. It is hundreds of contractors if you look at the links, not just a few. I am from that area and I worked in AC casinos, we all know what an a** he was and how he F'd that city over, its' workers and contractors. Then hightailed it out leaving a mess.

He earned the hatred of him as a Democrat, so you can't play that card.

Why would you think that nj’ers who have good reason do disparage Trump, hate America? No one here hates America. Although a few hate Trump.

People in NJ were expecting beautiful infrastructure that trump promised. He's from the northeast. He has his golf course here. He had full control of all branches of government for 2 years and he didn't lift finger to build anything beautiful. He could have pushed the gateway tunnels but he didn't.

Because Trump doesn't control the government, people don't realize the POTUS is just a guy with a face on TV most of the time. People voted him out but failed to realize that no POTUS can change the course of the country easily. How can the POTUS make changes with Congress to give him a bill to do so? Why did Obama used so many executive orders? Because Congress didn't work with him even when the Dems controlled the Senate and House for 3 years. Where was the immigration reform? Pelosi doesn't give a damn.

Did Obama help NY and NJ? He listened but without Congress putting a package together, it ain't gonna happen on McConnell or Pelosi's watch.

So Trump did not control all branches. The establishment party that controls both the GOP and Dems refused to work with him. Too bad most people don't realize this.

1st year he was battling with Speaker Ryan and McConnell at the same time. They told Trump to appoint the people they wanted to key positions and controlled what legislations. Trump fought McConnell hard to get funding for the wall and it never happened. The money from the wall eventually came from agreements with the Dems and GOP.

NY and NJ are not gonna get help regardless who the POTUS. Like McConnell said many states and cities were already knee deep in debt before the pandemic.
