He negotiated his way into the Whitehouse as the first outsider, I'd say his mystique is still there.
Let's see he had a narrow win against an extremely unlikable polarizing figure. He got help from the FBI announcing an investigation into her emails and he had questionable at best collusion with the Russian government that helped him push fake news about her. His "mystique" is more about being lucky than being good.

Because he waited until after the negotiations were over and the bill passed, negotiations which included his Chief of Staff, to add a new requirement. He should have made that clear from the start.
What do you call your campaign manager sharing internal election information with Russian intelligence? I get that on the surface no laws may have been broken, but the only reason you would share info like that is if you were working together or "colluding" to win an election.

Why,... if he cared about helping the American people and he is such a "great negotiator" did he wait until Christmas Eve to get involved?
It's been MONTHS since the first bill passed... was that March???
Seems like a such a "great negotiator" could have gotten both sides to the table and worked with them toward a "deal"...
On this bill, Mnuchin was involved and was "negotiating" on the President's behalf.
Why didn't Trump make his wishes part of the negotiations?
