Oh I don't know....maybe because he travels a lot and is in contact with many people? The vaccine, while good at preventing symptomatic disease, doesn't necessarily prevent someone from unknowingly getting the virus and spreading it (and no vaccine is 100% effective). The fact that the president is willing to wear a mask to potentially protect other people...such a novel and weird concept to care about others' well-being, right?

You can catch the virus and spread it to others anytime after you've gotten the vaccine. There is nothing special about 24 hours. Studies show that the Pfizer vaccine is 90% effective after about 2 weeks after the first shot, and gets its remaining effectiveness (95% effective) about 2 weeks after the second shot.

Even after fully vaccinated (2 weeks after the second shot), you could still catch the virus (although more likely would be asymptomatic or very mild symptoms) and spread it to others. That doesn't change after 24 hours post-vaccine.....

Because a good leader should be prepared to do what he is making, or asking in this case, something for his subordinates do.

I was told it takes 4 weeks after the 2nd shot to be covered 95%. And to continue to wear the mask. You can have it and not know it, asymptomatic. If so, you can still throw it off. Not much, but still. If I care for others, why not?
The studies show that 2 weeks after the second shots of Pfizer and Moderna, the vaccine was 95% effective in preventing symptomatic infection (and nearly 100% effective at preventing severe infection/hospitalization).

It’s been TEN weeks since Joe got the second shot.

The leader should want the subordinate to also deny science?

This makes no sense.

These dumb Democrats. A smarter move would be “hey look at me , no mask and not care in the world because I’ve been vaccinated “. They need to promote vaccines = mask gone, If they want everyone on board with this.

Right. But even after allowing the vaccine to become effective it still takes 24 hours after infection for the immune memory to start fighting the virus. As I heard from DeBeen on youtube.
