This makes no sense.
Science is irreverent. The order was mask on in federal installations the leader therefore must wear the mask he ordered others to wear.

Assuming Biden has been successfully vaccinated, most likely he does not need a mask to protect himself. So wearing a mask, just as I do, is more of a signal to distance. And reassurance to others since we are not all yet immune or vaccinated.

You can still spread Covid to others even if you have the Vaccine.

Irrelevant.

In any case that is at least a reason that makes sense in a completely unscientific way: He’s just following orders.

What are the chances? Is it like a lightening strike?

I was told it takes 4 weeks after the 2nd shot to be covered 95%. And to continue to wear the mask. You can have it and not know it, asymptomatic. If so, you can still throw it off. Not much, but still. If I care for others, why not?
Yes, that means 95% of those vaccinated develop antibodies that neutralize the virus if exposed. That means 5% of those vaccinated do NOT develop antibodies. That means, they can get the virus and pass it on.

From the Cleveland Clinic.

So Joe may be masked in an N95 mask for the rest of his life (since kids won’t be vaccinated any time soon and they could pass it to him and he could die of Covid as part of the 5% group ...forget passing it on and killing another old guy.)

You clearly are offended by mask wearing.

Seriously -- so much more to be concerned about.

I don't care if Joe wears a mask or not but what really bugs me is the lying. Joe said that the vaccines were not available under Trump, trying to give himself a pat on the back but sorry Joe you got your first shot while Trump was still the President. It is convenient that Joe and the media both have such short memories.

I say keep wearing it Joe because if you do catch the Covid I don't think he has the strength to fight it like Trump did and that would mean a President Harris. Lord help us when Joe is the lesser of 2 weasels.
I think he got both his shots during the Trump presidency. I’m sure he is grateful for Operation Warp Speed.

I never thought of this but the anti-hair sniffing aspect of the mask may cause me to rethink its uselessness regarding ole Joe. Good point.
