The old one drugged up criminal's life is worth more than all the businesses and livelihoods of the poor folks who have to live in those ruined neighborhoods.....
So businesses, property, etc. is more important than a human life.
So your theory is that Chauvin might have been worried that Floyd was not dead but just playing dead and could, at any moment, hop up, handcuffed and all, and fight him and the other three cops off and then run away?
Really?
Lol!! It's right out of a Scooby Doo episode!
I swear some posters theories are giving me a reasonable doubt they even understand the severity of these actions by Mr chauvin. Instead make ludricrous and outlandish remarks.

The jury must reach its verdict based on the evidence, & the law.

Otherwise it's a mockery.
I agree. It was ironic that the prosecution was encouraging the jury not to use the evidence and to rely on the viral video to make their decision. I doubt they would say this if the evidence was in their favor.
But what if the officer thought Floyd was pretending? What if the officer had seen this many times before? Its very logical and creates tremendous doubt.
How many times has the officer seen someone play dead so well that they can stop their pulse?
One thing is for sure there was no intent to kill, because why would a police officer intend to kill someone when he's surrounded by witnesses? Also, when a dishonest man says he can't breathe, is there reason to believe him? Both of these logical explanations should at least create tremendous doubt.....if the jury is being intellectually honest.
When Floyd had no pulse, Chauvin chooses to do NOTHING.

Is that your argument?
