Well, yeah.
Several states also prohibit smoking in cars when kids are present.

I didnt believe this either, until I started looking at monthly drug (heroin) arrests in my area, the very large majority of heroin/opioid related arrests in my area, are WHITE PEOPLE!

This is highly suspicious, because if you look at the history of heroin related arrests, the drug has ALWAYS been 'associated' with a specific race of people, in the beginning it was the Chinese, then, it was black people...and today, Im starting to believe 'white people' are the target of these laws...

If you do not believe me, look at the arrest data in your own area and see if Im right!

We RV quite a bit. It is common to see discounts for "under-represented groups" in RV parks and campgrounds. Specifically People of Color and people who identify as members of LGBT. That leaves no discount for straight white people.

Smoking has been banned almost everywhere. When I was a kid you could smoke in the supermarket, on planes, and in hospitals.

Fauci is an infectious disease expert, so he talks about infectious disease. Obesity is not something that he would comment on.

Do you really not know this stuff?

This is true, but the strange part is, there have been ZERO attempts to 'restrict access' to tobacco...heck, they are still sold in drug stores for petes sake! LOL

If you look at the products/substances that are deemed 'dangerous'...restricting access is almost always the first step by the Govt in reducing its use.

Fauci is not the nations dietician he is "director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases' and obesity doesn't fall under those categories. Ask the Surgeon General who is "the leading spokesperson on matters of public health in the federal government of the United States".

Of course the current person has had 3 months his predecessor had 4 years but probably avoided the topic because Big Mac Boy would have been offended....

I know the taxes they get are huge, along with money from lobbyists.

And that is an awful thing for smokers to do to others. The people I know who continue to smoke do it outside when no one is around.

The tobacco companies spent millions over years telling us no harm came from smoking.

I smoked. But I quit. Viewing the ads and commercials from tobacco companies at the National Archives is a real eye opener.

The cardiologist does not ask any more question when one answers yes, to the question 'did you ever smoke'.

This is a failure of nearly all of allopathic medicine right now though, hardly just Fauci.

We once went to an internist who smoked in the examination room with patients. Told DH not to worry about being a smoker, he'd let us know when it was time to stop.
