What's the R0? Lol.

P.S. Additionally, the 2.8 million is the number globally. Not that it matters much considering the nonsensical comparison.

My take is it is not up to the government to do everything. I don't get why one person should get the blame for a system you don't like.

Cigarettes are sin-taxed so heavily (~55%) that ironically, smoking directly supports government infrastructure. That tax rises every few months. Smokers would find a way to smoke regardless.

Indian cigarettes or black market, bootleggers.

Obesity is a symptom of wider societal disease. Actually about the same for smoking. And gambling.

That old saying about there being "no such thing as a stupid question" was never actually true.

BTW, that has zero to do with “democrats”. It is a non-political, national health issue. Trump is the person who made Covid-19 into a partisan issue from day one.

This is not true depends on the state Oklahoma and Virginia state laws prohibit local governments from regulating smoking really haven't changed much since the 1980's. Along with these states Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming which still allow smoking in restaurants and bars.

I believe in some of these states still have smoking rooms in airports.
