You probably never heard of two wealthy African Americans named Frank Baker and Robert Smith. One of them paid off the college tuition of 400 black college graduates. Many of those 400 black college graduates will in turn do the same thing.
Criticizing successful black people because they don't want to live in a black neighborhood is odd. Poor blacks don't want to live there either. Just because you don't want them in your neighborhood no matter how much money they have, don't pretend its some kind of vice if they don't want to live in the same neighborhood you don't want to live in.
You can buy any home in any neighborhood. I welcome anyone into my neighborhood. I do not have the ability to control who sells house to whom. Do not overstretch.
Why every black people does not want to live in a neighborhood they create? This is odd to me.
My point is if even black people do not want to live in a black neighborhood then they can not blame the white people who move out of the neighborhood seeing large number of black people moving in.
I find it MOST interesting that any sane human, Black or otherwise, would pay $1k
for a purse!
You must not know much about purses. I guess I wouldn't either if I wasn't married for 20 years. I just bought a bag for my wife for her birthday. It's her 50th, so I wanted it to be something special. I would have loved to have only paid $1K for it. That is dirt cheap.
And she hates the ones with the logo's on them. She says they are tacky. So I ended up spending a small fortune on a bag that nobody will know costs a small fortune, except for people who know about hand bags.
OP might just pass by the shop and used 30 seconds at most to count 14 and moved on. This is far away from being a hobby.
Your same logic could also be applied to many things.
'what a strange hobby. I post my 2 cents on internet others using good excuse to rob the shops.'
'What a strange hobby. I post my 2 cents on internet while some wild creatures at the age of 13/14 could try to rob a car and eventually caused the death of a hard working decent man? '
'What a strange hobby. I post my 2 cents on internet while some no brain people would go out to kill.'.
No different than the idiots who stand/sleep in line to get a new iphone....fortunately I have more to do than stare at them and take note of their race.
"Waaa..I'm not a racist, but I took the time to count the black people standing in line at a Gucci store and then took even more time to come to an online forum to post about it...."
You missed the point. I NEVER took notice of the race of people waiting to stand in line until the left started ramming all the race....race.....race stuff down our necks.
(And just like a liberal, you accuse me of being a racist simply for pointing out the obvious. It's the left's way of shutting down any comment - and dehumanizing the speaker - that deviates from the radical left narrative.)
Wait, wait, lemme guess... they paid for everything with FOOD STAMPS and then drove off in a BRAND NEW MERCEDES!
Did someone on this thread suggest that, or imply in any way that the black people buying expensive Gucci products were welfare recipients? To the contrary, I am showing how ridiculous it is to paint "The Black Community" with a broad brush, claiming they're all oppressed and impoverished.

There is nothing wrong with liking and wanting nice things. Doesn’t matter what your ethnicity.
Nothing wrong with wanting to live in a beautiful house, nothing wrong with driving a nice car and nothing wrong with wanting to go to a top private university. I’m amazed at how judgmental some folks are. It’s an American value that I don’t see why it is a big problem - unless you are stealing or cheating to get it.
Why is this even a thread? Is it because black people have a poor value system in the OPs opinion?
Melania is a big wearer of designer items. She should wear whatever she likes. So should Michele Obama.
Is there some point that is trying to be made here?
Maybe someone can spell it out for me.
Eta so the point of the thread is to say not all black people are poor!!?? That’s the big reveal?
Now that is crazy. Everyone knows Oprah and jayz and will smith and Tyler perry and Ben Carson and thousands more successful black people. There are dozens in my neighborhood living in 1million dollar plus houses. Is the op educating all of us that not all black people are poor.
Well thanks for that important discovery.
Imagine being offended by 14 black people buying some clothes.
And was someone offended? No. Someone pointed out that there are indeed successful, affluent blacks - and that this narrative of sweeping oppression and black victims is FALSE - and simply a way the Dems try to get and hold power.
Stop trying to imply that everyone who disagrees with liberals is a racist. Some of us are pointing out how successful blacks are - and that only a subset is the poor, gangbanger type!
Another oblivious out of touch post with a touch of racism. Learn about what one does when growing up in poverty and obtains a little wealth. The Seminole Native Americans are in example in Florida. Loaded with casino cash and don't know what to do with it.
Not true. You have a touch of arrogance. My parents grew up in poverty*, and ended up upper-middle class (measured by net worth). Neither one every stepped foot in nor purchased a Gucci, Chanel, Prada, whatever-ever-fancy overpriced status symbol ONCE in their lives.
*They were so poor that my dad, as an 8-year-old, had to go get the ice to say the one penny on delivery!
Instead of trying to put me on the defensive - a leftist M.O. - how about addressing my very valid points? That plenty of blacks are affluent and successful, and that they're not ALL low-class high school dropouts who are oppressed by whites?

You may notice, I never got into anything about race in my post. It isn't a race matter to me either.
I was responding to a post about a peripheral subject.
Maybe you should have posted this response to a post that is relevant to your response. There are plenty of them in this thread.
