The fact NIH allows these articles debunks the rightwing false claim that those who don’t support the mainstream are censored by a Deep State. You see they indeed aren’t censored for speaking out.
Yeah common cloth masks do not stop viruses. I think people forget how small a virus is.
They know how small it is, but at this point they are so invested in their silly positions on COVID, that to admit they were wrong will somehow destroy their reputations. Not realizing that repeating anti-science nonsense is what is destroying their reputation. It's like the priests clinging to the flat earth, universe revolves around the earth theory, because they have tied their religion to it, and to admit they might be wrong is a death knell.
Anecdotal evidence is not a clinical science study. So just stop.
Get this thru your head, those paper and cloth masks CANNOT filter out the virus. Geez, I'm really wondering why you continue to argue.
There is more than one way to gather scientific data. Controlled, blinded studies are not always needed.
They are not expected to "filter out the virus". The problem is that you cannot accept that is not the way they reduce the amount of virus in the environment.

You mean by aerosolizing those droplets you and others blather on about so instead of just falling, they are now light enough to float around in the air? You can do a simple test (y'know, science). Go hook up a garden hose and turn it on, take note of how the water falls nicely in an arc to the ground. Now, stick your thumb partly over the opening. Now notice how now only does it spray much farther, and in a much messier pattern, but it also creates many fine mist particles that float around for a while.

Try watching this. The assumptions made are explained at the end.
Its funny when people want to point to the CDC or NIH and you give them a study on their own website which proves mask don't work. Meanwhile, pro mask people still don't have one scientific peer reviewed study to show they work. Nor has any real world mask mandates or data proved they make a difference. Sorry, I get it, would be great if it was that simple. But why do you think after many decades have masks not worked you would think they suddenly work and this virus decides to move around people with masks.
When is the last time someone coughed or sneezed on you? If you think about it, it would probably be your kids, close family, or friends, or partners.
Not strangers on the street or in the supermarket. These mask mandates don't work because they're only addressing an edge case of transmission.
