The article states there is a debate about the UI benefits.. No denying that. Biden critics are refusing to acknowledge extreme shortages prior to the UI benefits so that they can blame Biden and his policies.

I have provided links to various articles --- a sampling ---from 2019, 2017, 2014 -- all talking about significant shortages in staff in construction and restaurant....and it is still not enough for you.

Biden is taking actions to discontinue the TRUMP Policies (which were the correct action at the time, and now they need to go away, which is what is happening).

^Not a bash of Trump, like a broken clock, even he gets something right once in a while... This was one of them.

Before the UI benefits companies had to apply for work visas to import staff.

If you have any proof to what you’re saying I’d love to see it, but it’s obvious you don’t have any or you’d post comparisons from then until now

ok.

https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/u6rate

In Jan '20 it was 6.9%
In Oct '20 (pre-vaccine) it had already dropped to 12.1%
In the ensuing 7 months, it's been trimmed to 10.2%

Is 10.2% good? If no, then what should be done to get the number down?

I've provided links to past articles identifying employee shortages prior to the pandemic and the impact on those industries.
