Of course, and it’s also mostly part-time work. With folks being off and staying home, how many babysitters are needed and has the number gone up or down?

Do your own research. I live near etsy headquarters so have a little more insight from talking to people who work there. It's ok if you don't believe me. my feelings won't be hurt.

Many folks would rather be a lifeguard. How many life guard jobs are available, how many hours, and what do they pay?

I didn’t say I didn’t believe you. I simply asked questions and since you live near Etsy headquarters and have insight, you should be able to pass out answers.

There are huge signs up in my post office because the town pool club is opening this year after being closed last summer. It say very high pay. I don't know what that means but it might be better for some then working at Wendy's.
Plus you can teach swim lessons and make some extra cash.

Nobody said there weren’t lifeguard positions available. I simply asked questions in regards to the job.

In the summer lots of lifeguard positions open up.

Here in the southeast 13/hr, is the going rate.

My son worked at Target and got 15/hr.

For the responsibility --- the Target job is a better deal.

So in other words, mostly only a few months a year for lower pay than what many businesses are offering, and obviously a lot less of them compared to other entry level employers.
