She voted in a 1 day sham trial with no witnesses and no time to investigate b/c they werent trying to be fair, they just wanted it done before DJT left office.

She has 0 support in her state and has been going scorched earth, bitter and defeated.

The proposed replacement does.

It appears that the R party will continue to remain in support of a Trump autocracy for now. The dear leader is not to be questioned.
Opportunistic republican representatives are scurrying around, trying to position themselves to take Cheney's position. Toadying-up to Kevin McCarthy is the main move. Rather than show that one must stay devoted to Trump to remain in any important position in the party, it's just demonstrating how low they will go in trying to perpetuate autocratic power. It doesn't mater what percentage of republicans still support Trump. Their base is shrinking and will continue to do so all the more, as they keep attempting to make moves like this. They are just continually reminding us what their party is all about.

Agreed. Granted they are not as bad as the left. How could they since the GOP has a handful of conservatives? We know for a fact that less government works and progressivism always fails.

A McCarthy both times.

Strange.

Only this time instead of blacklisting their political opponents, they are blacklisting each other.

Regardless of what happens with Cheney's leadership position, as far as the Republican Party surviving, I believe that train may have already left the station.

There just aren't enough kooks and Klan aficionados to make this work on a national level.

I can’t figure out why she’s changed so much. I’ve spoken to her on a couple of occasions in the past, and she wasn’t like this at all.
