This is about telling the truth right? like we live in a systematically racist nation, that cops are out to kill black people, the Russian hoax and the rest of the lies by the Democrats in power.

Democrats should sit this one out. No legs to stand on.
Deflecting to the Iraq war and Pelosi. SO are you alright with a president wandering around claiming the election was stolen, imagine if Al Gore or Hillary did that. This is a monumental lie and Trump is deserving of the criticism, too more congressmen lost their voices because getting reelected is more important than democracy.

She is a NEO CON like her father. That's the battle in the GOP that she will lose. Why would liberals care if Cheney keeps a leadership position in the party? You have to love the hypocrisy of liberals. They hated the neo cons when they held power but now care that Liz keeps her leadership position in the party.

That's like Democrats kicking AOC from the leadership position in the party and Republicans coming to her defense. Weird!

There you go deflecting again, I was not speaking to her politics try to stick to the case in point. Her views were never an issue by the way until Trump came along. The point is that Trump is telling his usual lies about the election along with his enablers and she has voiced here criticism of his rants and for telling the truth she is being removed.

I don't recall anyone being removed from a committee for telling the truth, maybe there was one in our recent past. You are mistaken AOC was never removed from a chair for criticizing the president, but she was passed over for other reasons so keep smacking that head.

Liz Cheney’s top donors stand with her despite Republicans’ push to oust her from House leadership
I read the article - they quote several of Liz's "top donors" which ALL donated the same amount, $2,800 except for the one cheapskate who only gave $1,000.

Reality check here - $2,800 is not a "top donor" in anyone's world except maybe the Rubber Bubble the Leftists exist in.

Lets hear from Liz herself

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...turning-point/

Opinion: Liz Cheney: The GOP is at a turning point. History is watching us.

Quote:
I am a conservative Republican, and the most conservative of conservative values is reverence for the rule of law. Each of us swears an oath before God to uphold our Constitution. The electoral college has spoken. More than 60 state and federal courts, including multiple Trump-appointed judges, have rejected the former president’s arguments, and refused to overturn election results. That is the rule of law; that is our constitutional system for resolving claims of election fraud.

The question before us now is whether we will join Trump’s crusade to delegitimize and undo the legal outcome of the 2020 election, with all the consequences that might have. I have worked overseas in nations where changes in leadership come only with violence, where democracy takes hold only until the next violent upheaval. America is exceptional because our constitutional system guards against that. At the heart of our republic is a commitment to the peaceful transfer of power among political rivals in accordance with law. President Ronald Reagan described this as our American “miracle.”
This country (with the one big exception of the Civil War) always had a peaceful transfer of power.....until Trump.

The part in bold is a monumental lie. There is simply no way to determine the extent of the effect of all the different types of cheating the Democrats engaged in. You will never be able to prove the election wasn't stolen, and the other side will never be able to prove it was. You're going to have to live with the fact that we have a legitimate grievance.

The transfer of power from Trump to Biden WAS every bit as peaceful as the transfer to Trump.

Inauguration protesters vandalize, set fires, try to disrupt Trump’s oath, as police arrest more than 200

And Cheney is going to lose this battle.

Pleease! You could manufacture outrage and raise doubt of every election this country has held. All of our Presidents have honorably conceded the outcome of their elections.....except Trump. This is simply a personality disorder of Trump not being able to lose.

So there is no way of proving the cheating yet you know it occurred, do you know how that sounds.

New name for the GOP - GOPofP - Grand Old Party of Prevaricators. If you refuse to perpetuate a lie - especially when that lie will poison and undermine our democracy - you can't belong. No room at the inn for truthtellers.
