I'm not sure what any of that has to do with claims of election fraud but it's good you got it out of your system.

Smartly played whether you like her not.

Sure, if you think conservative "suburban women" are easily manipulated with canned anti-male quips left over from the early days of pantsuit fem-rage.

Helen Reddy called, she wants her duplicity back!

WSJ editorial board: GOP deserves to be in minority if Cheney is punished

Yep. But it is way more than that. Way past which party is in the minority or majority to govern. We are now talking about the foundation of America---democracy.

When truth no longer matters, our democracy is in jeopardy. Members of the Trump-Lie-Can Party disastrously accept O' Dear Leader's claims without evidence. They grievously live in a world of denial and ignorance of reality. Any truth tellers and elected leaders, who have an interest in America and governing, cannot exist in the new GOP and will be banished. Which we saw yesterday.

The lies, white nationalism and baseless conspiracy theories Trump peddled, for more than four years, are firmly implanted in his followers. They are the foundation of this fascist-leaning, myth filled, defiant movement called Trumpism/MAGA which has now embraced The Big Lie. And of course truth tellers are hated.

This loud and vocal wing of the Republican party---which has an almost-religious devotion to the authoritarian Trump---has become the GOP. It is no longer a faction, it IS the party now. It absolutely unveiled itself with yesterday's ousting of Rep. Cheney. Long a staunch Republican, who supported firmly the Trump administration's agenda, Rep Cheney apparently understands American values: democracy, our Constitution and adherence to the rule of law. For putting America over fealty to the former guy and his Big Lie she was excommunicated. The Trump-Lie-Cans have determined there is no room for American values in their party.

We have, since 2015, watched the know-nothing, corrupt and venal TV host devour and devalue truth, science, morality, people of good character, democratic institutions and now democracy.
The blind loyalty we are currently witnessing ---to a leader who has repeatedly been proven to be untrustworthy, unfair, irresponsible; who has flaunted his disrespect for citizenship and citizens; who is a LOSER, has now consumed the GOP.

Yep, it is mindboggling to those who utilize critical thinking--- such as the WSJ, and the many conservatives this new GOP calls RINOS, and to the majority of American citizens who value democracy--- but this devotion to The Big Lie really is the hallmark of mind bending cultism, organized crime and dictatorships.

Under a self-serving, demagogic charlatan named Trump, and aided and abetted by the Repub-Lie-Can Party the United States has joined the sad roster of backsliding democracies. This, IMO, is the reason this political party deserves to be in the minority and hopefully relegated to a trash heap by history.

They really can divide up Team Red good on this one. I suspect 80% of the party is GQP-calized. 20% remains the standard/old party.

Forcing the actual politicians to pick a side is a great tactic for Team Blue.

The GOP seems to be pounding more nails into their party's coffin, with every move they make. Their train is running at full steam towards a trestle that has already halfway fallen into a canyon. The Democrats should just stand clear and let them rip along into oblivion. And you know, it really doesn't matter how many republicans stick with the party line, because they will lose a lot more independents next time around.

Conservative commentator Byron York is trying to figure out Liz's game. The Cheney name still holds alot of clout in the GOP.

And George Bush is speaking out

Interesting timing....this coming out at the same time.....Hey Trumpsters.....LISTEN. They are just trying to prevent the GOP being taken down by a pied piper. If you have to believe Trump's Big Lie to belong to the GOP, then they will no longer be a viable National Party. You don't win by shrinking your party....logic would suggest.
They are entitled to their opinions just like everybody else!

"who the current GOP is losing in droves."

Yet the GOP picked UP 15 seats in the House!

Do you still think it's an accident that we only have two parties? Red needs blue as much as blue needs red.
So many sheep in America its sad. 70 years of Political Propaganda will do that to a country.

Nicely described, but I think that it's not accurate to describe Trump as an authoritarian, as he has no authority on anything. Any power he wields is just a fantasy of the numbskulls who blindly follow him. There will come a time, probably within the next year, when it will all turn to dust and they will be left flailing around, with nowhere to turn. Will they be dangerous to the rest of us? We can only hope they have no more substance to their threats than there is to their principles.
