There are nonprofits set up to assist--here's one:

Signatures ARE checked against databases.

I’m not the jerk.

See how this works?

You are requiring people to PAY for right. That’s illegal.

Are you aware how many Americans do not have a birth certificate? I worked in a State Department Passport Acceptance Center in my last job - and MANY individuals do not have birth certificates. You’re required to have one to get not only a passport - but a driver’s license - and now with REAL ID a birth certificate is required.
So how do these people survive? You are saying they don't go to a doctor, dont drive , have a bank account. Or get government assistance. All of these require at least some type of Id. Which the same could allow them to get a voter ID card.

If someone does not have one of these. Do they even care or are competent to vote. Liberals just want to let people from other countries come here just to vote on vacation.

THERE WAS ID AND SIGNATURE VERIFICATION ON BALLOTS BY MAIL.

It’s part of the process. IN RED- STATE (not blue) UTAH.

You provide the DMV with your signature when applying for a driver’s license. That signature is in a data base. Your signature on your ballot is compared with software.

I live in Illinois. I was told they are not allowed to ask for one unless they suspect you are not who you say you are.

uhhh, that's not even required.

The government doesn't need to mail "everybody" a free ID. I don't need a free ID, I have my driver's license. Everybody talks about putting systems in place to get the very few (3MM =n < 1% of US adults) cost-free ID's.

in NC, no ID is required at all. You've got to know a name and the correct address. Both of which you could do standing right there, looking at the book the same way the poll worker does.
