Poll: Sixty-nine percent of black voters and 75% overall support voter ID laws

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...pport-voter-id

New polling shows that a large majority supports voter ID laws that require individuals to show a photo identification before voting, including almost 70% of black voters.

The poll, released on Wednesday by Rasmussen Reports, found that 75% believe photo identification should be presented before voting and that 69% of black voters support voter ID laws.

Broken down by party, 60% of Democrats support showing an ID to vote compared to 89% of Republicans...

See how this works?

You are requiring people to PAY for right. That’s illegal.

Are you aware how many Americans do not have a birth certificate? I worked in a State Department Passport Acceptance Center in my last job - and MANY individuals do not have birth certificates. You’re required to have one to get not only a passport - but a driver’s license - and now with REAL ID a birth certificate is required.
about 3MM adults, as of 2012 (says NPR). https://www.npr.org/2012/02/01/14620...-government-id

So why, when Republicans are willing to aid these people with obtaining ID, do Democrats still oppose?

It really is as simple as "you need an ID for everything else, why not to vote?"

Ask any midwife.
Do they have a Social Security card? If not, these people are going to have difficulties soon or later. How do you open a bank account, apply for credit, get a driver's license, go to college, rent a car, travel on a plane, etc.? What do you do if you're stopped by the police and they ask for ID?

This is 2021. Accommodations can/should be made to provide ID to every citizen.

The Democrats are on a scorched earth take over everything ruthless campaign right now. Trump getting into office scared the hell out of them. Not so much trump but what he represented, he was an outsider and had to be stopped.

Anyone with any true intelutucally honesty would realize that voter ID is right and helps to ensure voting integrity. In my opinion if you are against voter ID, you're against voting integrity, plain and simple.

Trump getting into the White House should scare the hell out of any patriotic American.

Typical, being rude and insulting does not win arguments, it just reflects poorly on you. I do know what I'm talking about, you just cannot debate this topic, so lashing out and being a jerk is what you resort to.

Lolz .... except obtaining an ID doesn't cost half a million dollars.

And Democrats oppose voter ID laws even when the proposed law includes provisions to supply IDs free of charge.

So ... your analogy is a big goose egg

What did Trump do while in the White house? Oh yeah, he was the first president NOT to involve the US into a new war, he got nations to sign peace agreements with Israel, lowered US unemployment rates to their lowest, renegotiated NAFTA into a deal even Biden had to admit was much better for America than NAFTA, stopped North Korea from launching missiles, created a fantastic economy.

What has Joe done? He's destroying jobs, creating a recession, spending trillions of dollars in new deficit spending, creating a new illegal immigration crisis, raising the cost to consumers for everything, appeasing Iran and China, granting Putin billions of revenue with a pipeline, etc...

The left cannot debate this issue, their arguments are week and silly, and debating them is as easy as shooting ducks in a barrel. To tell you the truth, debating these weak Democrat partisans is getting boring.

I was leery of Trump at first, but he didn't do anything crazy and showed more restraint a couple of times than I thought he would, particularly toward Iran. They were getting nutty with us as they do and he didn't take that bait.
